"Plus there are far worse people who could've found you," Isaac said before realising what he'd said. "Sorry, that's not a very helpful comment to make."

Lawshenk

“ Issac we might not “ she choose her “words carefully” this young lady  might not want to work with us, she might choose to align with so,e one else she is not forced to do any thing “

Lady Jenn

"You're the first people who've been nice to me since I woke up," the girl said. "So right now I feel safer here frankly."

"You've had a run in with someone else, haven't you?" Isaac asked. "We're not the first people to find you?"

"There was someone who refused to tell me who they worked for," she replied. "I may not be a telepath, but I could tell something wasn't right, so I just lied and said I was waiting for someone and he seemed to take that as an answer."

Lawshenk

" I should have said I don't actually work for people we are just friends close friends that have ended up stuck in a hospital at the moment but I have a feeling we won't be there long"

Lady Jenn

"We need to figure out exactly what happened before we plan our next move," Lucas said. "I get the worrying feeling our mystery attacker and whoever was attempting to recruit our new friend might be connected, if not the same person."

Lawshenk

" all I am saying is " she sighed " can this thing take me back home to my coffee shop so I can just work there "

Lady Jenn

"Well, we'd have to go back to the base anyway," Lucas said. "I'm assuming you'd want to take Katya back with you?"

Lawshenk

"she is in the best place for her, I will discuss it with her first I am sorry I am too old for this "

Lady Jenn

"You're going to-" Isaac started saying before catching a glare from the cockpit.

"Don't Isaac," Lucas said firmly. "That's not our job, stay out of it."

Lawshenk

" I am not leaving her " she smiled " we always planned on retiring I just can't keep doing this " she turned to the new girl " no offence "

Lady Jenn

"Then why make that comment about her being better at the base?" Isaac asked.

Lawshenk

“ she is bettter off at the base” Gerri sighed “ I just failed her again”

Lady Jenn

"Doesn't she have a right to choose?" Isaac asked. "You can't just walk away from her and expect her to be fine with it."

Lawshenk

" yes she does" she looked at him " she needs to recover and I am not sure I'm helping that, even Jenni is a better nurse than me"

Lady Jenn

"Of course you're helping," Isaac said. "I know enough about her to confidently say that she'd be handling this worse without you there, you're the reason she's trying to walk again for one thing."

Lawshenk

" that is my point" she looked at him " I do not care if she can walk or not all I want is for her to be healthy " she tried to explain but knew she sounded like a bitch"

Lady Jenn

Isaac was about to respond when he suddenly noticed the newcomer flinch. Unfastening his seatbelt he rushed over to her. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"My head," she replied. "It feels like...someone's trying to access my mind."

"Shit," Isaac said under his breath, turning towards the cockpit. "Lucas, if it's at all possible for this plane to fly quicker I advise you do it now, I can't examine her in mid air."

Lawshenk

" or I can give you both a boost ?" She offered

Lady Jenn

"I appreciate the offer," Isaac said. "But we don't know the full extent of her powers, someone controlling the weather could easily bring this plane down if we weren't careful."

Lawshenk

" yes" she considered " I agree good point " she looked at Issac " I erm I will talk to Katya I am not here to justify myself to you"

Lady Jenn

"I didn't mean it like that," he said. "There's..." he paused. "Sorry, treating her so much has made me more concerned about her than I probably should be, just ignore me."

Lawshenk

" your looking out for an old dear friend I understand that I thank you for it, but I love her as much as is possible "

Lady Jenn

"And I'm pretty sure the feelings are reciprocated," Isaac replied as he felt the plane lurch. "Well, on the plus side that's definitely the plane speeding up, hopefully we'll have a few answers shortly."

"Nearly there," Lucas called from the cockpit. "Make sure you're all buckled in, I can't guarantee this won't get a little rough."

Lawshenk

She buckled up “ I hope it is”

Lady Jenn

"Jenn, can you do me a favour?" Isaac said, concern spreading across his face. "I think it might be best if we carry our new friend into the base, she looks a bit unsteady at the moment."
