Gerri smiled at cypher before going in to a huge panic attack

"Allow me," said a young woman who seemed to appear from the cockpit unexpectedly, taking Geri's hands in hers. "Clear your mind, I can calm you more easily that way."

"Lucas," Yuri called out. "You didn't tell me you'd bought more of the Brigade with you?"

"I'm not sure she'd appreciate the implication about her age Yuri," Lucas said in response. "This is my daughter, Nicole. She insisted if I was going to pick a fight with Carreyra that I bring her with me."

Gerri listen and tries she looks a little scared though

[Lady Jenn]

"Can't you work any faster darling?" Lucas asked slightly sarcastically.

"Dad, considering my other power I would advise avoid making comments like that to me," Nicole said, stifling a laugh before turning back to Geri. "I can shut off certain...emotions. I could stop you from feeling fear, not permanently but it might help in the short term."

" it is not fear I can do this I've done it hundreds of times before

"Show me what it is," Nicole said, giving her a reassuring smile. "I promise there is nothing you could show me that would shock me, you would have nightmares if you'd seen some of what I had."

"You have nothing to fear," she said. "You have friends around you, and I guarantee this won't be as bad as..." She stopped for a moment, rolling her sleeve up to reveal a jagged scar on the inside of her left arm. "This is the only physical scar he gave me, but...what he did to my mind will stay with me for the rest of my life. It was only my father and one of friends from the brigade who stopped me taking revenge on the one responsible for this."

" some one is making me feel this way I'm not sure whom"

"I can block it out for you," she said. "I don't even need to know who it is, I can block it out for you without knowing any more or any less than you want me to know."

" guys go on with out me" she started to glow and shake

[Lady Jenn]

"They can't do this without you," she said, before an alarm sounded from the cockpit. "Dad, what's going on?"

"You guys are going to want to see this," Lucas called out. "I just picked something up on the chatter from the Corps base, and...I think things may have got further along than we thought. The old vaults under the base...apparently they're planning to empty them."

"Oh...oh that's not good," Sky said, suddenly turning pale. "Lucas, if you have any way to make this plane fly faster, I advise you do it now."

Getting started to glow and scream with pain

[Lady Jenn]

"Nicole, help her," Lucas shouted from the cockpit.

"I don't think that's a good idea," she replied. "You know what happe-"

"Nicole, if the Vault has Sky worried, then it's something bad," he said, cutting her off mid-sentence. "We'll need everyone ready, just do it, we'll deal with the consequences after."

"Geri, look at me," Nicole said, looking her straight in the eyes. "I can take this energy from you, but...you'll have to give it willingly, I'm not like Carreyra, I can't do this if the person resists. Trust me, please?"

Gerri looked her her eyes glowing " Gerri is gone an I don't trust you"

[Lady Jenn]

"Nicole, do it," Lucas shouted back. "I know you're scared, but you've got protection."

"Damnit," Nicole muttered under her breath, as her hands began to glow purple. "I don't know who you are, but either you give Geri back or I promise you, you will beg me to kill you when I'm done."

" this is my body get Gerri to give it back to me

[Lady Jenn]

"This isn't a negotiation," she said, her voice changing as her eyes started to turn purple. "I've faced worse than you in my dreams, I can set you free to find a body of your own or I can put you in your own personal hell for the rest of eternity. I advise you choose quickly, the creature in me won't offer a choice if she...comes out to play."

" I am the right full owner of this body I have just gotten strong enough this  mermaid powered thing and you want me to leave I have not had control of my body for centuries please believe all I want is my body

[Lady Jenn]

"But she will die without it," she said, closing her eyes as she tried to fight what was happening in her body. "I am offering you a way to find a new life, the...thing inside me, it won't. And I cannot control her for long."

"Geri...whatever you are...I advise you listen to her," Yuri said as realization slowly hit him. "I know what she's holding in, if she releases it everyone on this plane, including you, is in mortal danger."

"Yuri, you're not helping," Nicole snapped more fiercely than she intended.

Gerri body spilt in two on half turns to liquid and vanishes the other half starts to age

[Lady Jenn]

"I've made things worse," Nicole said, letting out a sob as she collapsed, Yuri able to catch her before she hit the floor. "We needed Geri at full strength."

"We'll be fine," Yuri said. "You saved us from that...creature you're holding at bay, you've done nothing wrong."

"You don't understand," Nicole said, shaking her head. "The Nightwalker, it gave me a glimpse of what's waiting for us at the Corps...it's worse than any of you realize. If the creature is right we cannot, under any circumstances, allow Carreyra to succeed. We have to throw our full strength against him, which means we needed Geri to be at full strength."

Gerri lays there unconscious and unpowered

[Lady Jenn]

"Clint, whatever that creature Geri was bonded with you need to find it NOW," Sky said.

"I've never tried that before," Clint said. "Not like this anyway, I don't know if my telepathy even works like that."

"Clint, if the Nightwalker is warning us, there is something bad waiting in that vault," Yuri said more aggressively than he intended. "I know enough about that creature to know it is incapable of lying."

"Keep us in the air then," Clint said. "I can't do this if I'm getting distracted." He closed his eyes, trying to concentrate. "I don't know who you are," he sent out telepathically, "but we need your help. There is something in the Hero Corps base...it's a threat to everyone, we need your help." He sighed as he opened his eyes, rubbing them. "I don't know if that worked, we might have to assume it didn't."
