"You must really love me," she said, laughing. "You seem to be about to have a job as my unofficial carer, not that I'm complaining...especially if it means you get a nurse's uniform," she said, smirking.

"I think you could," she said, smirking. "And we could have some...interesting times finding out." She pulled her into a deep kiss, enjoying the fact the moment took her mind off her knee.

"If I fall asleep on you suddenly don't worry," she said, resting her head against her. "I feel more comfortable like this than I ever have."

"What were your parents like?" she asked. "I realized I don't know all that much about your family, well other than Mark anyway."

" your have to ask mark" she smiled " all I've known since I was 5"

[Lady Jenn]

"At least you had family," she said, not angry but slightly tearful. "After mum...when dad didn't come back I ended up going between foster families, until a combination of coming out and my powers emerging at an inopportune moment left me homeless and fending for myself."

" mark and I had similar woes, " she remembered but did not go in to it"

"At least we can make sure things are different for Anna and Tyler," she said, smiling. "Us two will give them all the affection they could possibly want."

" yeah" she giggled " I am sorry "

[Lady Jenn]

"You don't need to apologise," she said. "You've made me so happy, I'm sure my parents would have loved you if they'd had the chance to meet you."

" I'm sorry cos I doubted my love for you?"

"That's called being human," she said, kissing her lightly. "You're here now, that's all I care about."

"At first I did," she replied. "But once I realized I could use my powers to help other people, I didn't regret it for even a moment."

" I regret them now" she looked at her " not at the time"

"Pity we can't switch off our powers," she said. "Although, frankly, I'm not sure I'd get through all this pain without them."
