Pathfinder Adventure Path Interest Check

With an active, no-meta group, I would do either an all male it all female group.  I would prefer fluent writers with a paragraph plus per post, and less abusable weirdness than sparkling weirdness.

Think rise of the runelords starts with a festival so bit of a slower start perhaps?

I have never played any of the Adventure Paths in Pathfinder (except heavily modified Kingsmaker AP, set into Eberron).

So I would love to be one of your happless heroines trying to overcome obstacles, in any of them really.

I'd go for the all female game though would be happier with a mixed party but that's not on the table. I'd have to build a particular type of lady for this type of game so for them it's more dubious consent than non consent for them. A paladin or cleric of Saranrae being willing to share their body in hopes of helping redeem their foe. Or just someone who's got a raging enough libido to just say fuck it, the incubus wants to fuck me without draining my soul or killing me sounds like something I can enjoy does he have any friends? If that kind of thing would work.

i'd be up for the all female group too. except for Wrath of the righteous, which i have already played once almost till the end of book 4, i'd be up for all the adventure pathes

I'd love to get in on this! I'd prefer the all female group as my male characters fall... Flat. I'm working on it... I would love to do Rise of the Rune Lords or Ironfang Invasion. Both are fairly solid ideas in my eyes though I do believe that Ironfang Invasion has the stronger position as there is an active threat to deal with that is known. Also in that same boat would be Giantslayer! If you wanted to branch out a bit. I've played through the first book of it and orcs man. It's orcs. Almost as bad as hobgoblins.

Just have to perk up with this is basically what I'm talking about with my "stronger metaplot" discussion earlier. In more recent Adventure Paths, you know what the story is going to be about (mostly), right from the get-go. Ironfang Invasion does what it says on the tin! You got to admire that! And hobgoblins are pretty good for hulking and militaristic villains. Strong active threat, players have strong interactions with them earlier... it fits well with a setting where you want the players to be the underdogs.

Rise of the Runelords, enjoyable as it may be, can feel a bit like disconnected (or barely connected) adventures... since I believe that was what was done at the time.  You can tell they've moved away from it in favor if focusing in on single, coherent metaplots.

...okay I'm done nerding out about Adventure Path design. o///o
