Faerie Fable Academy is a place constructed when the first Endless Night Occurred Knowing that a place to train hopefuls to be ready to combat the Endless Night, a Grand Paladin only known as Clegane came into the history books, he had many races help him in the construction of this four quadrant building, all designated under four different houses. The Pride Wolf, The Scale Lord, The Radiant Pegasus, and The Unyielding Titan. Four Godly Depictations of Four Heroes who banded together along with Clegane to fight the coming Dark. Though they may of perished Clegane was determined to have them live on through the school.

It is not your normal academy, this school is not to just educate someone for financial or intellectual gain. It is a place that will make you into a Guardian of the world you currently know, to become something more than mortal. You will physically and mentally change here, you may come out something far from human, if you were human at all.

The Endless Night, it is fast approaching again...It has been 100 years since the last Endless night...And that lasted 50 years. By the time the sun showed again, many had not made it, the school's seers see it coming again, how shall they fair this time?




Will be able to answer questions and improve upon time, just wanted to see how much interest this could get, also not willing to run it solely on my own so I'm seeking one to two to assist me in making this work.

House Pride Wolf[/b]

The Proud wolves, the fearless, and immovable. This house consists of warriors who took the blood of the Pure Wolf, the Werewolf that served against the coming dark. Many take to the blood differently, and it is no gift, it is a curse to undertake for the fate of others. It is a true selfless act to drink the blood, but what you do with it will be judged under the eye's of your alpha.

You shall become a werewolf, but what kind of wolf that comes out of you will be up to your body and who you are, some assume the Full wolf, while others take to it partially with unique powers, they take the forested quadrant of the academy, and will live like a wolf, and will be respected as one. Once you are taken in, you shall be given a tattoo, and will be accepted into a pack. Your eye's will be needed to see in the dark that is to come.


House Scale Lord
Ancient Drakes and dragons rule this house, it is not easy to be accepted in, but for those rare few, the process of acceptance is grueling, to not only come with a gift, you must be able to take something from one of the Gold Hordes in this mountainous area of the Academy with is supposed to be dreadfully difficult. But to those that succeed, great power will come.

Students who successfully pass enrollment will be brought to a shimmering Pool inside the largest mountain, were they will be suddenly pushed inside, and kept underwater where they will drown. But as the strange water enters their lungs and body, their features and body will change, gaining scales, wings, and claws until they resemble a Humanoid Drake, they are then fished out to finish the rest of their transformation until their body takes to the new form in the students unique way.

Once fully grown which takes a grueling month, the student will find they can transform into human shape at will from their dragon form. Gain the ability to control an element, and be bestowed a cave that is furnished nicely. The expectations of a new Dragon are quite high however. Learning to not only control their breath and strength, but to know how to use it against the coming dark.

The Unyielding Titan
This Cruel and cold path is not for everyone. The Frost Giants of this side of the school are not to be trifled with, and for those who brave the cold, and the fury of a creature twenty times their size is no easy feat. But it has to be done. One must venture into the tundra of the third quadrant of the school, and be able to pass by current students and teachers undetected. It is there they will come upon the Great Snowy Peak, where a single tree bearing silver fruit lies. One must take the fruit, and eat it.

It is then, your body will grow in size rapidly, your old clothes and old life are taken away as your skin hardens and grows resistant to extreme cold and heat. You feel your insides burn white hot as they grow and become stronger. You have become a Giant, how large or what unique traits you gain are up to your body, but you have now been entrusted with the strength to fight the coming dark, so you shall be looked upon with great respect.

The Radiant Pegasus
This may appear to be the easiest house to enter, but it takes a level of difficulty that can't be one out by pure endurance. Patience is needed in order to find and coax a stallion into leading you into a Grotto in this enchanted forest quadrant of the academy, from there you must think fast as you are riddled by the Seer that lives in such place, then let your memory serve you well as you are given three cups. One contains what you are looking for, the other two will send you home.

If you choose right, you will feel your body grow light, and your mind become unshackled. A horn protrudes from your forehead and wings grow from your back. You have become one of the Radiant Pegasi. Wielders of light magic, and the scholars to record and prevent the destruction of the Coming Dark. Their role is incredibly important in the face of the coming dark.

I've went ahead and added which house is what along with some information, if more interest is shown I can elaborate on what teaching looks like here, and what kind of powers to expect.

If I get some help from the experienced and enough interest is shown, this could have a system, but as of now the plan is freeform.

but I'm open to many possibilities. I'm interested in the concept. Were you imagining, well, a more traditionally D&D type experience where the players form a single group, or, something more freeform? What particular kinks were you imagining fitting this setting?

Was a little curious about one thing though. Would the characters be starting off before or after the trials for their particular house?

Well if a system becomes the consensus then I would suggest BESM Third Edition. I would also be willing to help with character Creation.
