Hello, Elliquiy!

Before I get into this plot, a bit of a disclaimer - if you look at my posting history, there's something of a gap. I've been on an unofficial hiatus due to work, real life, etc. Long story short, I got a promotion at work and life has been crazy. If we had a plot together prior to this absence, thank you for being so amazingly patient, and I will be in contact soon to see where we stand.

Onto the plot details~

My character (hereafter referred to as MC) is the lead vocalist for a prominent rock band, somewhere in his late thirties to early forties. He has been an active and well-respected musician for over twenty years, with an impressive collection of albums from both his original band and solo efforts. Known internationally as a trailblazer and flamboyant fashion icon (think David Bowie), as well as for his voice's unique timbre, he shows no signs of slowing down, and serves as a source of inspiration for up and coming talent.

Your character (hereafter referred to as YC) is one such talent. Still young, somewhere in his twenties, YC and his group have just gotten their big break after being spotted by a talent agent and getting their first recording contract. YC has long since admired MC, emulating him both in song and in fashion, to such a degree that his group's first single ends up being a cover of MC's biggest hit. Of course, YC had secretly hoped that this would catch MC's attention - but imagine his surprise when it actually does...

From here, things can go in any number of directions. YC covering MC's song was my way of getting the two to meet somehow, but I'm up for any variation that leads to them meeting for the first time.

I'd like to explore the complexity of the relationship between them. I imagine it could start as a fling, a sexual encounter to fulfill YC's fantasy of having sex with his idol, that unexpectedly leads into something more meaningful. It would involve the stress of being on the road, possibly being apart for long stretches, and the jealousy that results from the fact that MC is something of a playboy with a bad habit of avoiding commitment.
