Hiya! First time putting up a request for a roleplay, but I'm absolutely itching to write! So, I'm just going to leave this here and see if anyone takes interest. You can read throw my likes/dislikes to get a feel for how well we'd fit, but this isn't all about smut. PM me if you're interested! You can either launch straight into the thick of things, or talk and flesh out a few more details.

It was early dawn when you woke, the ashes of your fire simmering softly, warding off the creeping frost that glistened upon the ground. Your stomach growled, it'd been days since a successful hunt. Times were hard in these late autumn months, and you'd been on the move in search of a fresh kill to fill both your stomach and coinpurse. You'd wandered far into the depths of the forest in the hopes of finding something, anything. But you were in luck. Fresh tracks, right by your camp. A deer had wandered past in the dead of night, and perhaps it still lurked nearby. Stalking after the beast, you soon found it, out grazing the bilberries in a meadow. It's coat gleamed with a golden hue in the early morning rays, whilst its antlers stood tall and proud. You were certain this beast's pelt would sell for a fortune, whilst its muscular body would keep you fed for weeks. You line up a shot, not a sound to be heard other than the songs of forest birds. The arrow flies forth, but as if by blind chance, the creature raises its head and spots you. It rears, though the arrow still pierces its shoulder. Instantly, the stag bolts into the woods. It's a hard chase, but the stag was wounded. You had to chase it down. You follow it through each twist and turn until strangely...it leaped into the hollow trunk of a gnarled old oak. Perhaps it had tried to hide, so you quickly leaped in with it. Though rather than end up in side of the trunk...You found yourself falling through the canopy, branches and twigs whipping you on the way down. One snagged the back of your clothes, suspending you in mid air as you watch the stag run from sight. But you were no longer where you were, this place was different. The trees were abstract, with curved trunks and purple leaves, the dark wood almost seeming like a ball of yarn. White, whispy moss drapped down from the branches, whilst the ground was covered in a blanket of greener moss, that glowed in the places the stag had stepped on when it ran. Not that it mattered, you were stuck. As you look around, you see a few strange mushrooms littered beside the rocks and roots that poked out from the moss. Perhaps those had been the cause of all these hallucinations, it was a viable theory. The best you could do was try and wait it out, wait for the effects of the spores to fade. Besides...You were stuck in a tree. No wolves nor bears would be able to reach you up there, and they were the most threatening creatures in this wood. Or so you thought. A silence fell, the chatter of birds no longer audible, the only sound being the occasional cries of which you'd never heard before, coming from a multitude of beasts far in the distance. Eventually, the glow of the moss subsided as nothing else passed to disturb it, and you fell into almost darkness. The thickness of the canopy meant only small dapples of light reached the ground. Suddenly, you hear a noise. Rustling, soon to be accompanied by the movement of the leaves to your left. A pair of amber eyes look back at you, the pupils slit like a reptile, though the leaves conceal the rest of its body. Some sort of cat, perhaps. But then it chuckled..What? "Stuck in a muddle, are we?" a feminine voice asked, slow and smooth, though with a lingering hiss on the S. More leaves stirred around you, but you couldn't quite determine the cause.
( completely open to suggestions and changes! E.G, You don’t have to be a ranger, just need a reason to chase the deer, really)
