Shot down alien during WW2 roleplay

This is something i thought up today. I just want to offer it, as world war two ones dont get picked up that often, but, here goes.

My character would be a human form female alien, appearing human. Perhaps Earth was seeded long ago, or my race could be from another world that was seeded by a more advanced race, its up to us. My ship would enter orbit around Earth during WW2, at a time when V1's were being fired. I would take my ship lower down and it would be hit by a V1.

Damaged, I manage to eject in a pod and land safely. I would encounter US troops, I'm thinking, a squad or platoon, save them from certain death, and remain with them, using the superior technology with me to detonate mines, to charge machine gun positions. I could have advanced weapons with me, and be their secret for as long as possible.

If this appeals to anyone, let me know. its likely I wont, but, one never knows.
