League of Legends [Interest Checking]

Hi BlackThrone, a pleasure to have your interest... though I'm starting to worry a bit that this won't be taking off. I'm assuming most of you are looking for heterosexual couplings, and I'm starting to think we won't have enough females. Since I'm intending to substitute a fair bit of the fighting with sexual interactions, things become a bit... well limited.

I considered involving the actual characters and incorporating the lore, but it seemed like a lot of reading for someone who isn't familiar with LoL, or just a casual gamer. So that was excluded.... I'm wondering though if that was a mistake :/ Ah well, fingers crossed, maybe tomorrow.

Well, we could always try and do a more lore intensive game to try to attract more LoL players. I could definitely dig a more lore focused story as well. League just has so much potential

Also, since we seem to have a few players here, I'm curious: what region and rank (assuming you even play ranked) is everyone? I'm a total scrub: Silver 2 on NA, though I am in my promos.

Gold 2 NA last season, placements got me S1 this time, I'm in my promos for Gold 5 but too lazy to finish them.

Thanks Ashena, that helps bolster our chances a little bit... but I'd still need at least one more female character player before I could even begin to consider this feasible.

I admire people who can genuinely say they don't care about sexuality/gender... since I have to admit I certainly do. I could probably try some FxF with a female player... but after looking around in a few roleplays on here, I'd sooner go back to PG-13 roleplays than play with a guy playing a female character. All I ever seem to see is "Her boobs this, her boobs that"

If someone's willing to setup a group involving more lore, then I'm certainly willing to throw myself in for it. I'm going to admit that creating something else is currently off the table for me since my creative juices are drained. I have noticed a fair few people were looking at the thread... and never expressed interest, so maybe something more intensive is what would catch their fancy? *Shrugs*

I got up to Platinum 4 or 5... but admittedly I'm on the OCE server which is... pretty meh. So it probably doesn't count for much. I stopped playing LoL awhile ago though, and the last champion released for me was Illaoi

Sexuality has nothing to do with good or bad writing. Bad writers are bad writers.

If you would like to get an idea, I can link you to the old LoL game I ran if you want to read over how I ran it. Since we're in the GMs/Groups Seeking Players section and not the other section where its players looking for a GM, I had assumed you were going to be the GM for this?

If I were to run this specific roleplay, I'd be willing to continue in the role of GM. But if we're going for something more lore oriented, that would be something outside my GM'ing capabilities. I usually tend to stray from religiously following source materials, whether it be fandom or history... since disputes are inevitable, and I don't have the time or patience to extensively deliver a verdict.

I didn't religiously follow it lol. I kept it very basic. I just used the lore to create the world. I'll just drop you a link so you can see what I did just for an idea, but no. I don't cater to extremist nerds either.
