All-Inclusive Sexual Identity Characteristics: A slim blonde haired blue eyed young girl who is attracted to drugs, women, men, and decapitation (in that order).

Personality: Physically, Cora looks quite different than her old self: now she’s beautiful, thin, and blonde. Her personality, on the other hand, is pretty much the same: Haughty, cruel, sadistic, and more than a little crazy. She retains her fondness of demanding decapitation for anyone (or anything) that displeases her but without her minions she isn’t taken too seriously.

Background: Her transformation and transplantation into the Underworld has unpleasantly changed her perception away from what it was in the surrealistic Wonderland. In order to correct this, Cora has discovered something marvelous that makes her feel right at home: drugs. Whether it’s caffeine, sugar (and lots of it), alcohol, or any number of hallucinogens, Cora uses whatever she can get her hands on. And now she’s finding out the only thing better than using drugs is selling them...

Other: Cora is always consuming sweets and otherwise has a diet like an overweight trucker. Yet she remains almost dangerously thin.

Name: Alain Dumoulin (Gaston)

Age: 18

Role: Student

All-Inclusive Sexual Identity Characteristics: Male. Jack says I breathe testosterone, haha! No, I am not that muscled, just right, you know? As for what I like? Hey, that's a tough question. I attract many people, it's hard to choose.

Personality: I don't like to talk about myself, but if you must know... Just listen to what others will tell you. They may exaggerate a bit. I am not as good as they'll tell you but I had my share of victories. Mostly they're because of the swimming competition, but there are others too. You'll hear, it all people like to talk about me. I don't know why. They say  I am a people's person. Must be because I don't judge, you know? I get along with everyone, even that blonde who said I was made of vermins. I thought she was crazy but Jack said she meant phermones... or something like that. He said it means 'smelly' in a good way. I don't know about that, but it's true that girls like me.

Background: Gaston eventually died of old age, after marrying money. Alain is believed to be their only child. He had a happy childhood, loved by his father and mother both who tried to grant his every wish, and who are fiercely supportive, cheering him on whenever he excels. Although Alain is a very fit individual and loves swimming as well as fitness, he also has taken to photography and hopes to make a career out of that hobby. He wants others to see how he views the world, and change their views to match his own.

All-Inclusive Sexual Identity Characteristics: Purple-haired, green-eyed female who is attracted to individuals who possess power, all types, regardless of gender.   

Personality: A naturally born leader, Mal is as confident as she is beautiful.  She is bold, and fearless, and isn’t afraid to buck the system or trend and march to her own drum.  She is caring and compassionate, but her quick temper often gets her into trouble, and when she’s gripped by her rage she doesn’t always think things through.  She wears her feelings on her sleeves, so to speak, and can easily become offended.  In an argument or disagreement, she doesn’t hesitate to use whatever is at her disposal to win, including her magic.  She’s more than willing to intimidate or manipulate to get her way, even if she regrets it later.

Background:  Mal’s essay on “Who my mother was?”

It is often said that the victors write history, and there’s nothing different in this story.  So great is this legend that all believe it true.  Yet, the tale leaves so many questions unanswered, and like any story there is more than one side.  She was named “Mistress of Evil”, spurned and mistreated for who and what she was, outcasted and treated unfairly, but no one ever says why.  No one ever speaks of what happened before the story begins, how the human kingdom waged war on those with magic simply in order to steal their coveted lands.

Now you may argue there were three “good” fairies, according to the legend, but what makes one good if the teller is at war with an entire people?  Perhaps those who are on the same side?  Spies and traitors who sold out their own for riches and favor?  Who can say?  Only those still living.

The legend begins with the birth of a princess.  Aurora they called her, and all in the kingdom were invited to pay tribute to this infant of the great king.  What vanity requires an entire kingdom to pay respect to a person simply because they were born?  The christening is the hook.  Where the gifts and tributes were given to the child.  Maleficent, having been forgotten and ignored, decided to grace the child with a foretelling.  Yet, the child had a dark future, one which Maleficent didn’t sugar coat or hide.  The child would prick its finger upon its sixteenth birthday and die.  Tetanus, perhaps?  However, how was this gift received?  What was the price of honesty?  She was driven from the kingdom, banished by the vain king.

Now, every story has the truth hidden within, even those written by the victors, and here, if you look, can be found the truth in this tale.  Having been given a glimpse of the future, and knowing they only had sixteen precious years with their daughter, what did the king and queen do?  That’s right.  They gave the child to strangers and charged them with its care.  Now I ask, how much can they truly have cared for their child?  Did they send her away to lessen their eventual pain?  Was the king so self-absorbed that he couldn’t stand the thought of losing an heir?  Who truly is the villain?  The person who said the child had sixteen years to live, or the parents who denied their child their love, and who stripped her of her status and forced her to live as a peasant?

Sixteen years passed, the child grew into the beautiful young woman she was destined to be, and nothing was heard of Maleficent.  Is it not odd that the “Mistress of Evil” did nothing for so long?  Surely she did something, but who knows?

You know the legend, it picks up again just before the princess’s sixteenth birthday.  She returns to the castle.  For what purpose, do you remember?  To be wed away to a neighboring kingdom in order to strengthen her father’s lands.  Forced to marry someone she’d never met, traded like gold or silver, taken away from the home she’d known her entire life with no regard to her well-being and happiness.  I ask again, who are the real villains?

Now, the girl somehow finds a spindle in a kingdom where every spinning wheel was destroyed.  Of course, this coincidence is blamed upon one person.  The fairy who foresaw and forewarned of this fate.  The legend says Maleficent conjured the wheel with her magic and enchanted the girl to prick her finger.  What happens next?  The three “good” fairies put everyone to sleep and leave the kingdom completely defenseless.  How is that a good idea?

Now, who does the legend claim erected a defense of the castle?  Who grew the thorns and transmuted herself into a dragon?  Maleficent, Mistress of Evil.  If she was so evil, why didn’t she conquer the kingdom while everyone was asleep?  Why didn’t she burn and pillage?  Why didn’t she destroy them all?  Does it seem like things just don’t add up?

Who shows up in the story now?  The hero?  According to the story.  Enter the man who gains everything.  The Kingdom.  The princess.  The glory.  Fame and fortune.  Of course, he claims he was locked away in her tower, and he uses that as justification for his actions.  He murders Maleficent, marries the princess, and they live happily ever after, or so the tale goes.

Now, if you’re still not convinced, ask yourself this simple question.  What was Maleficent's motivation?  What did she gain?  They claim revenge.  I ask this, however, what type of evil waits sixteen years for revenge?  What evil being doesn’t destroy everything when they have the chance?  Is it really just me, or do you think there was more to this story too, now?

All-Inclusive Sexual Identity Characteristics: Female - Pansexual - Switch - Polyamorous. Nala doesn't discriminate, why would she? As a lioness, she is prone to be quite switchy. She loves a good power struggle and doesn't mind subbing for the right person. Sex is great and fun, something she is always willing to be apart of.

Personality: Nala has an incredibly strong personality. She doesn't back down from a challenge and would never fall under pressure. Family, lovers, and friendships mean the world to her - fuck with someone she's close to and you're bound to get your ass kicked.

Background: Where relevant, if they didn't die in the movies, just kind of explain what ended up happening to have them wind up in the underworld, like suicidal depression or old age or whatever

I can certainly allow for a doubling-up to allow Mulan (my favorite of the Disney princesses) in an instructor capacity, and for a male instructor just to get more male roles filled, as well as faculty.

Personality: Mulan is still a bit of a lovable clutz, but is able to adopt a professional (and rather cold) demeanor while on the job. When not teaching, she is far more relaxed and approachable. She is a protector at heart, and thinks nothing of jumping into dangerous situations to protect others-especially the students. She does hope, however, that trouble is never much more than bullies.

Background: So where do you go after saving China and marrying your former Captain? To here, apparently, to turn villains good. Knowing that Shan-Yu is around, she keeps one eye on him at all times. She has high hopes for Shan-Yu, as he is a mighty warrior, he was simply on an opposite side and chose a path of terror to frighten China into submission. Brute force bereft of wisdom is no strength at all, and that is what Mulan will stress upon all students, good and bad. In any event, a good number of the students here could do with a few laps around the gym, so get moving-yes, even the squishy wizards are going to become fit and trim if she has anything to say about it!

Other: Keeps Mushu and Cri-kee as pets. Mushu is just as much a sass-talking, pun making little lizard as he was before. She doesn't carry her sword with her while teaching, and only plans on bringing it out when it is needed.

Messua's husband took aim and fired at the jungle cat, forcing him to veer away from wherever help might have been found. With a bullet wound of a rifle across his shoulder and the sparse embers of the torch clinging to his tail, Shere Khan eventually ran himself into the ground in exhaustion and was unable to rise to feed himself. Due to his years of torment, none of the creatures of the jungle would help him.

With his dying breath, Khan repented his evil and mourned the squandered opportunity to use his strengths to do well for himself and others. Now he believes that he was raised by himself as his former incarnation, witnessing the evils perpetrated in his former life. Instead of seeing from the eyes of the tiger, however, he empathizes more with the mancub who sealed his doom and the wisdom with which Mowgli held sway over the creatures around him.
