Gypsy, Alison is also in college, so she and CJ could know each other that way. Perhaps it was even CJ who informed Alison of the camp counselor job.
No pressure though, only if you'd be interested in such a set-up.

Works for me - I left the college loose for that reason, so as long as we assume it has a ROTC program, I'm good with any college.  Seems like a bit of a non-standard friendship given the different goals, but could be fun.  Were they roomates?    Did they work out some sort of trade - help you with your papers, if you help me loosen up a little, ie, introduce her to some of the party crowd?

Roommates could work. It would also explain a friendship forged out of the circumstances of being roomed together, since personality-wise they might have otherwise not gravitated towards each other.  :-)

Be my slutty girl's big brother and constantly scare away the boys she's trying to seduce! :)

You bet, what will be her name?

I have added another approved character to the opening post.
Do not worries, there are still plenty of slots left, as I have only received a handful of character sheets so far.

I'm definitely interested in this game.

If the shy, smart girl is still available, or perhaps the geeky/nerdy girl, I'd be thrilled to fill out a sheet! :-)

I would love a nerdy guy role.

I will work up a sheet and send it your way!

I just added two more approved CS to the opening post, but there is still plenty of room. So by all means, create a character.

Whatever archetype you'd like to play works for me, unless it's somehow game-breaking.  :-)

I got some thoughts on connections, hopefully fun ones, with most of you guys, but I am gonna sleep on it! In the meantime, here is my girly! :)

Sheena Kennedy
Age: 18
Archetype: Rebel Girl
Background: Sheena is all about disrespecting authority, dancing all night long, and living free. She has always gone against the grain, been the 'one to keep an eye on' and gotten in trouble, often when other kids wouldn't have, just because of who she is. She loves shocking people and living for the moment.

Sheena is from a fairly dull lower class family somewhere close to the tracks. Not on the right or the wrong side. Just sort of near them. Her father is a factory worker, her mother is a housewife. To say Sheena doesn't get along with her parents is an understatement. She's run away from home constantly and spent several nights in jail.

She's rather smart, not that she ever shows it, and her grades got her a scholarship to the local college. Seeing it as the only way out of her boring suburban life, she jumped on it. One of the catches though, was based on her juvenile record she has to do community service. She figured working as a camp counselor wouldn't be so bad? The school agreed, assuming that someone like her as a counselor give the kids who thought they were rebels a role model, and someone they might actually listen to. It'll be easy enough, right?

I have been thinking about playing a local male from the area who has been invited to be the camp participants' trekking guide around the woods if required. Would that fit the narrative?

I am still waiting for a few revised versions of earlier sent CS, but there is still room for more players in this game.

Two more approved character sheets have been added to the opening post.
So far we have five female characters and three male characters.
This does not mean that I will only approve male characters from now on, but I would like to add at least one more.
