Yay! This should be a lot of fun. I really like the idea of having extra players for "guest NPCs".

So, assuming Rhialla is a Mormouth girl, PhantomPistoleer and I will need to figure out her relationship with Simon. Have they gotten together before, and did it end well or badly? I could see them having a fun, flirty friendship, but it could also be amusing for her to have an "ugh, that guy thinks he's Sarenrae's gift to women" attitude towards him at first. What do you think?

Oh, badass!  Uh, I can't really chat now, but we'll work something out that makes sense soonish.

This is my character sheet.

Simon isn't very serious, and he's also not the type to take himself seriously.  Although he's very handsome and charming (dat CHA 18 doe), he is self-conscious about his size.  He's a bit puny! It's clear that he was not made for the provincial life, and everyone KNOWS that.  Everyone has been nice about it so far because he's at least entertaining.

If you'd like, HopeFox, we can make it so that our characters are best friends.  YC might be a bit peeved that MC fools around with a lot of girls, but that shouldn't stop them from having a nice romp atop a hill.

Let's work on this!

Sure! I think Rhialla teases Simon for trying to use his charm to solve all his problems (e.g. "Oh, your horse threw a shoe? Maybe if you whisper in her ear what a pretty horse she is, she'll just re-shoe herself for you!"), but she is genuinely fond of him and knows that he's a good person. She's always very open to a roll in the hay with him, especially outdoors, and sometimes comes looking for him if she's lonely. She may roll her eyes when other girls talk about how handsome he is - and, after all, she pretty much has her pick of the local men - but he can charm her skirt off whenever he likes, and she knows it and doesn't resent the fact.

Arleen Devina

Since little Arleen never fully understood humans too much yet, or any other humanoids as well. Their whole world was so hectic, so chaotic and they fought against each other yet for some reason she knew she had to protect them. It felt as if she had been given that mission from her celestial ancestors, to protect Simon in particular from his own kind and so she had to be prepared for that. She barely saw him a few times when they were both so young, she wondered if she could remember her for she could not forget his warm eyes as they played together by the fountain.

She was taken to many temples and religious orders who were not only in charge of teaching her and preparing but also protecting her from the temptations of the flesh that lied in every corner in the world of men. And so the years passed and despite not being a little girl anymore she is still a virgin pure and innocent, perhaps too innocent but she had been put through so many hard tests so she could be Simon's protector and thinking about him gave her strength to pass every test always feeling good to be able to defend others, perhaps too glad about being her the one who received the punishment instead of others slowly growing fond of that feeling.

Despite begin extremely naive, Arleen is a masochistic and submissive paladin, an angel blooded aasimar who intensely devotes herself to protect others, perhaps too much as she has grown quite addicted to putting herself in the harm's way and receive herself the punishment.

Looking forward to playing with y'all!

Also looking forward to it and I'm open for discussing how much our characters know each others as well ^^

That sounds great.  An ideal relationship!  Maybe we can pick up the initial scene with our two characters spending some quality time together.  ;)

I'm not really sure how Simon would know Arleen!  He's never left Mormouth.  But I think he's gonna have a blast getting to know her.  :)

I thought that they were some sort of childhood friends, something they met like 10 years ago and she left and now she is back. I would have to change her story a little because of character age so he should still remember her as she looks almost exactly than before she is 66 now but they would have met when they were 8 and 56 or something like that, maybe she looked at him as a big sister and so did he but now that he has grown up he has developed other feelings. What do you think?

Aww, that's actually a really sweet story.  I'm very particular to it, Kathyan!

Simon will be very excited to see Arleen again.  He would have been devastated when she left to complete her training.  Maybe she could have saved him and that's how they became friends!  How about this: a tribe of lizardfolk attempted to abduct Simon but Arleen foiled their plan.  What do you think?

So in human equivalency (more or less) she was about 15 or 16 when he was 8 and now she is around 18 while he is too, yet she still sees him as a child to be protected.
And I think just a couple of lizardfolk rather than a whole tribe would be better, while she could also be protecting him from bullies, angry brothers of his conquests or any other danger really

Also I think Arleen being naive and submissive not only would not realize about his flirting and fooling around with any girl or with her but would also do anything her "little brother" wants her to do.

That would be quite lovely! I think that will depend heavily on Petrus's plan for the start of the game. But I certainly have no objections!

If you go with this background for Arleen, then she and Rhialla would have grown up at just about the same time, since Rhialla is 69 now. I think they would definitely be friends, with their shared heritage. The interesting contrast between them is that Arleen has an obvious divine mission (to protect Simon), whereas Rhialla isn't aware of any deeper meaning to her life beyond "herd sheep, be nice to people".

I have no objections to the two of you starting with a tryst either. If you want to, i could start the IC thread soonish with a brief description of the village, so the two of you could start writing already while i write pms with everyone?

That sounds great! The village is definitely where the two of us should begin.

Oh, hey, Kathyan, I just noticed that there was an errata back in 2015 for the Advanced Race Guide, not all of which has made it to the d20PFSRD.

Most notably, aasimar starting age is now 20, plus 4d6, 6d6 or 8d6 depending on class. That would put our typical ages at 34 and 41 respectively. That's much more in line with our dear human friends!

While being a 69-year-old shepherdess who had never left Mormouth was going to be fun, 34 seems much closer to the mark, and means that none of my former lovers have grandchildren now.

Revamped my character a little bit. Her background precludes a preexisting relationship with Simon, but I think certain other aasimars already have long hard backstories with him covered.  :P

Lulu the Apprentice Portmancer (https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1149836)

Lulu was born to a pair of elven rangers who lived in and watched over their forest, in a place far far away from Mormouth. Even before she could properly walk and talk she was getting into trouble, constantly being found in places she couldn't possibly have crawled to. As a child she started playing with baby lizards and birds that had somehow found their way into her home. The rangers knew that these animals were definitely not native to the forest, but their presence was a mystery until one day they saw her opening a small magical portal to a faraway wilderness.

At a loss of how to raise an arcanely talented child, Lulu's parents sent her off to be apprenticed to a local wizard and be trained in magic. For most of her formative years her world was the wizard's tower, broken up only by the occasional errand that required her to step outside. Not that she was unhappy; between the demands of her apprenticeship and the household chores she had to perform for her master, she buried her nose in books and explored the world through them, and found companionship in little creatures she lured through portals from distant lands.

The years passed and Lulu grew into a beautiful young woman. Having grasped the basics of magic her master began to direct her studies towards her personal specialization in portals that could teleport herself or others. One day she was researching a new spell when something went wrong and there was a blinding explosion... when the light subsided, she found herself teleported off into an unfamiliar land with no easy way to get back home...

Lulu is full of knowledge but rather naive due to her sheltered upbringing. Socially she is shy and reserved, and rather sensitive about her ears if someone brings attention to them or even if she feels someone is staring at them. During her apprenticeship, when she had to go out on errands, children would tease her and call her names about her ears. (And her ears in turn are a rather sensitive part of her body, even if she doesn't know it yet, wink wink nudge nudge.)
