I'm not committing yet, but would a reimagined Forge fit in this setting? Or a take on Polaris?

Ohh, a fellow X-Factor fan! Forge was actually mentioned as someone who'd be sought after in the IC thread and I'm certain Polaris would work quite well too.

Though I should note that someone is playing Magneto, so her powers would not be unique.

I sort of had the idea of a teenage female Forge, one who's a technopath and an energy generator/blaster. Probably a genius hacker too, one whose learned to keep her talents hidden in Imperius's world.

Are original concept characters allowed?  If so I had a character which was kind of a variation of Rogue.  Character absorbs mutant power used against him for temporary periods of time.  He had had the ability to ignore wounds for a period of time.  Character was a Scottish Engineer who had been employed by Shaw industries and he worked on the Sentinel project.  In his backstory his wife and he were in New York during the Onslaught conflict, and wife was killed by Sentinels.  He then went out to kill as many as he could when he was hit by Franklin Richards reality changing wave, and it flung him through time and space as a result.  Character also had a Tinker ability he absorbed and became permanent and as such could assemble weapons out of common scrap items about, but if someone is putting in a Forge character I can have that power scrapped.  I have named the character Recall.

@Empyrean: Forge would be a viable character, however like Doom mentioned someone has already expressed interest in bringing them to life. So let me check with them and see where they sit on the idea. Otherwise Polaris would be very viable.

@Blackstone: Original characters are indeed welcome. That said, power absorbing is one of those iffy things. I'd be happy to look at the concept written out, but I'll say out right that it's going to be a hard sell. More importantly than that, it seems like your concept is steeped pretty heavily in comic events which never took place in this setting.

Which is the nice trope with Franklin Richards powers as they can be used to explain sending people to other alternative continuities.  The time line in which the character had his origin was not where he ended up as he was originally used in an Age of Apocalypse role play.  As for the power absorption, its never more than one power at once, and never more than an hour.  Character was originally created using the old Marvel FASERIP random character generation from the Ultimate Powers Book where he ended up with the powers Residual Absorption,  Weapons Tinkering, Hyper Intelligence, and Iron Will.

If I end up with Polaris, would she still be Magneto's daughter in this setting? Because I had the thought that she might be a daughter he didn't know he had and she didn't know anything about him until they meet in-game.

Although I haven't had a chance to chat with Wispyr about this since this conversation started here, I'm the one that was planning on bringing in Forge once Wispyr makes a decision regarding second characters, and I'm still interested in that possibility.
