It's the time of The Gathering. Evil Immortals seem to be coming out of the woodwork to challenge those who would prefer to live their lives, if not in peace, then at least without constant conflict. But conflict has always been a constant companion to the vast majority of Immortals, especially the older ones who have been forged through decades and even centuries of life or death struggle.

Against the backdrop of clashing blades and earth shaking quickenings, is it still possible to find love, and maybe even flashes of normalcy in between the inevitable fights for survival?

Emelie du Rosier was a relatively minor noble in the time of the French Revolution. The populace didn't seem to care that she had tried to be as charitable as she could with her wealth and good standing. They wanted blood, they wanted her head. But in a twist of fate and perhaps irony, a strange man came along just as the dogs were at her door. Without saying a word, he buried a dagger between her breasts, and she was dead by the time the mob had forced their way in.

It would take a little while before she realized that the man who had stabbed her had actually saved her life, for the guillotine would have killed her as surely as it would have killed a normal human. But Emelie was anything but normal. She was an Immortal, reborn into a world much stranger and much more violent than she could have possibly imagined.

Now, as the clashes between Immortals seem to be reaching a feverish pitch, Emelie is finally destined to meet the man who killed her mortal self centuries in the past. Will they clash swords? Will they find love? Let's find out together. Please PM me if interested.

I took a VERY long hiatus from this site, thus how long ago this was posted; I was looking over some of my old solo wanted requests and I realized that this is something I would still be interested in writing.

So this is basically a six year bump to see if anyone might be interested in writing this with me.
