Trump admitted he doesnt care about the looming debt crisis because he wont be in office when it happens.

Yep, very mature - and his own fortune will be in some tax havens by then. More than likely, part of it already is.

I have a hard time believing that he's even half as wealthy as he says he is.

How many times has he filed bankruptcy?

How many times has he filed bankruptcy?
I don't think he's ever filed for bankruptcy personally. It's only been his businesses that have filed.

To answer your question, his businesses have filed 6 times, as well as 13 failed startups.

Considering that I'd doubt that he ever put too much of his own money into his businesses, I don't doubt that he has a lot saved up offshore. It doesn't take a genius to know that, if you're a con man, the house is eventually going to fall and you're going to need to have a bit saved up if you need to 'retire' all of a sudden.

That said, it's all conjecture, because there's a lot of hinky stuff in his finances, especially in the 90s, and he still hasn't released his tax returns. If there's ever going to be any straw that breaks the proverbial camel's back, it's going to be a subpoena for his tax returns that shows off his... less than honest business dealings. They never catch the big criminals for the actual crimes, but rather for the taxes, after all.

I know he’s stiffed contractors for decades..default or paying pennies on the dollar what’s owed. There’s are tons of businesses in New York and New Jersey alone that went under because of him.  One of co workers said his uncle would pad his bids for the Trump company because he was 50/50 on getting burned with him

Hmm so this also looks pretty bad for Trump and the NRA.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/06/us/trump-bedminster-golf-undocumented-workers.html

Also first hand account of an undocumented worker who works for Trump. And a conversation about the many undocumented workers he and his businesses use while he makes life harder for them and spreads hatred of them.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2018/12/06/how-donald-trump-shifted-11m-of-campaign-donor-money-into-his-business/#454ba6ab4d34

Also about him turning campaign contributions into money for himself.

Also looks like things with China are going to get even more complicated.

John Kelly is expected to resign within the next few days, after his relations with Trump have reched a "stalemate", a dead end of mistrust and the two men not speaking to each other, two sources close to the West Wing tell CNN. Wonder who Trump will get to replace him...

Also it looks like more bombs/bomb threats may be coming to the news that report on Trump in ways he doesn't approve of.

So Trump is telling CNN: "That bomb threat which took you off the air for an hour, it was your own fake news to try to get noticed and blame my people"?  ::)

God so much news.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/dec/07/john-kelly-mueller-investigation-interview-expected-resign-report

Kelly is talking to Mueller.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/tillerson-says-he-often-had-tell-trump-his-directive-violates-n945176?cid=sm_npd_ms_tw_ma

Tillerson and Trump openly shit talking each other. And Tillerson says Trump had to be explained basic things about the law and why you shouldn't break the law, constantly.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/12/07/nyregion/michael-cohen-sentence.html

Michael Cohen is going to jail.

https://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/ny-pol-counter-report-trump-mueller-russia-probe-20181207-story.html

Trump has a "Counter Report" ready for Mueller's report. Which. Seriously are we living in the dumbest fucking timeline or what?

And I don't know why exactly.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1071177621445230596

But Trump a bit ago tweeted out "Totally clears the President. Thank you!"

The comments to that tweet, by smart people bashing Trump in words and memes, are a huge part of the reading value. As so often with Trump's tweets.

And yes, if Kelly is talking to Mueller, no wonder he (Kelly) will be out of the White House soon.

Ok so here are the live updates about the documents Mueller just released.

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/420358-read-mueller-filling-says-manafort-lied-about-trump-admin-contacts

Here you can read them yourself.

TLDR. Mueller has evidence that Manafort was coordinating with Trump and his officials up to and including 2018. In the documents they also refer to Trump directly now, not just Individual 1. They say The President.

https://twitter.com/CNNSitRoom/status/1071169396041793542

A little discussion that being a big deal.

So now it looks like Trump was committing those crimes while acting as president, along with many in his administration.

So...this points towards possible (likely?) evidence of President Trump being the ringleader of a conspiracy to subvert justice, during his actual term in office?

Yeah. They probably need more evidence and need more statements from people, which many are probably gonna flip to get off the sinking ship. But basically, this is the sort of thing that I think can call for impeachment and indictment. At least as far as I understand it, there's possibly some more specific things that might hinder impeachment on those grounds. But it looks really bad for Trump.

Yeah, a president who makes it his business to block the investigations of justice concerning himself and his activities, and pulls his close aides into it - that's no good. ^_ ^

And he just brought on an Attorney General who supports firing Special Councils and who supported firing Comey.

It is a bit frustrating because certain outlets are just reporting with a headline "Trump: Documents clear me!". So people are being misled because while Trump did say that, they don't, and they name him. And then the articles are like "Oh yeah they name Trump and Trump is wrong." Associated Press is the worst with this they do it all the time where they just tweet out a quote he said as the news without any context.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/07/politics/jackie-speier-donald-trump-jr-jared-kushner-cnntv/index.html?utm_term=image&utm_content=2018-12-08T00%3A16%3A05&utm_source=twCNNp&utm_medium=social

Also

And CNN just did another update.

"Paul Manafort testified to a federal grand jury twice in the past six weeks, special counsel Robert Mueller’s office said in a filing Friday.

Why this matters: The grand jury appearances suggest that prosecutors were using Manafort to build a criminal case against someone else.

The dates where Manafort “was called to testify before the grand jury” were on October 26 and November 2 — mere days before prosecutors told Manafort’s team they believed he had lied “in multiple ways and on multiple occasions.”

Outside of the grand jury, Manafort met with prosecutors from the Special Counsel’s Office, FBI and other Department of Justice prosecutors a total of 12 times. Three of those meetings happened before Manafort pleaded guilty, in mid-September.

After Mueller told Manafort’s team they believed he had lied on Nov. 8, the lawyers went back and forth over the alleged breach throughout November, until prosecutors revealed their accusation last week."

https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/federal-prosecutors-concluded-that-president-of-the-united-states-committed-a-felony/

The Southern District of New York has officially ruled as well in their court that based on their hard evidence, Donald Trump committed two felonies.

He is above the law. Impeachment is a political act and there is no indication that Mitch or any other Republican will put party over country regardless of how blatant and irrefutable the crime is. Even given the GOP's prospects for the Senate in 2020 (where they have about 20 senators up for reelection, albeit most not in particularly blue states), I don't see them punishing Trump.
