Let me know when you want Rogue or Laura. I don't want to jump in and ruin anything.

VoluptuousVixen

Have Laura join the other students please

Captain Whitebread

Why does everybody assume Cyclops is being a dick?  Oh wait, it's because he's Cyclops... lol
There are nights when the wolves are silent and it the moon that howls.

TamaRose

I will work on a post later for Laura

....and personally, I always liked Cyclops. He is hot!

VoluptuousVixen

Bowen

That is pretty epic. And it brings the whole tension between Scott and Wolverine to a new level.

Captain Whitebread

I read through the X-23/Young Cyclops history.  It should make for some interesting RP.  He's been trying to keep track of who is holding the 'You look like you need a hug' card....

Name:  James Howlett
Alternate name:  Old Man Logan (Wolverine)
Origin of powers:  Mutant
Age: ??
Sexuality:  Heterosexual

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Man_Logan

Powers:

Animal-Keen Senses - enhanced sight, smell and hearing

Adamantium Bones and Claws - nigh indestructible material, cuts most any substance except adamantium and Captain America´s sheild
Berserker Rage
Mastery of virtually every fighting technique on Earth

Disadvantages

When in his Berserker rage, Wolverine struggles to discern friend from foe, so if a villain can change his mental perception, Wolverine almost becomes a liability to the team.

Having slaughtered the entire X-Men in his universe, he continues to live with that guilt for the rest of his unnaturally long life.

Old Man Logan

The story starts as Wolverine is summoned by Jubilee to the X-Mansion to defend it from an army of super-villains.  Having helped the younger mutants escape, he slaughters his enemies with little regard for life.  However, this is a mental illusion brought upon by Mysterio.  Wolverine actually slaughtered most of the mutants at the X-Mansion.  Ridden with guilt, he attempts to commit suicide.

50 years later, Old Man Logan is visited by an old friend Hawkeye.  Logan is hired by his friend to help escort something across the country.  He would prefer to not travel, but he owes money to the Hulk Gang and must take the job or risk the lives of his family.  As they travel the country, they come across many heros and villains.  Eventually, he collects the money and kills Red Skull, his first kill in 50 years.  He gets back to his family immediately to find them slaughtered by the Hulk Gang due to boredom.  Wolverine goes berserk and kills every Hulk, except the baby, which he takes with him and trains.

Logan travels to Earth-616 to prevent what happened to his world.  He does his best to avoid the X-Men as he believes himself responsible for killing them all.

I want my character to respond to Wolverine, but I feel I'm hogging the scene.

So, I will wait until Monday (or others have replied) before going on.

Should we have an OOC page for this game?

Sir Haley

Could some please pm me the game thread?  Thanks!

Hero Name: Jean Grey (only other name she has gone by is the Dark Phoenix but she's not there yet)

Legal Name: Jean Grey

Origin of Powers: Mutant

Age: 17

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Powers:

Telepathy:Jean is able to read thoughts, project and broadcast her own thoughts, as well as affect the minds of humans and animals with higher order intelligence (such as dolphins, ravens or dogs). Jean quickly displayed advanced telepathic skills, after being tutored by Kitty Pryde, such as cloaking herself and Scott Summers from even the most powerful of the future X-Mens' telepaths. The extent of her power was evidenced when she blasted Thor out of her path during a confrontation with the Avengers and most prominently during an altercation with Xorn (her future self), whom she was able to overpower through sheer power in spite of her inferior experience. The magnitude of this achievement is shown by the fact that even the combined might of Emma Frost and the Stepford Cuckoos was insufficient to defeat her. She has demonstrated the following specialized uses:

Telepathic Defense: She can manifest her telepathy in a number of defensive ways.

Telepathic Cloak: She can mask her presence and the use of her abilities from being detected by other psions and psychic entities. She can extend these defenses to others around her as well. Cloaking via telepathy is not perfect and powerful psis may notice and 'see' through this ability.

Cloak Mind: Ability to rearrange the “mental engrams” of mutants so their distinctive mutant thought patterns cannot be detected by Cerebro-type devises or by other telepaths.

Psychic Shield: Ability to erect a psychic shield for protection of herself and of others minds.

Telepathic Illusions: She can create realistic telepathic illusions and cause people to experience events which are not actually occurring.

Telepathic Camouflage: She can alter the apparent physical appearance of herself and other people by altering the perceptions of those around her. This can go so far as to make other people believe that the camouflaged people are not there (invisible). A limit, if one exists, is only imposed by the number of people she is trying to fool, not the number of people she is camouflaging.

Telepathic Manipulation: She can manipulate other people's minds easily, achieving a variety of effects.

Memory Alteration: She can control, Erase, restore, and alter her and other's memories.

Mind Control: She can control the thoughts and actions of others.

Mind Possession: She can possess the mind of another, and use that being's body as her own.

Mind Alteration: She can alter the minds of others by force of will, thus permanently changing their personality partially or entirely.

Mental Paralysis: She can induce temporary mental or physical paralysis.

Mental Amnesia: She can erase any awareness of particular memories or cause total amnesia.

Mind Transferal: She can transfer both her mind and powers into other host bodies if her own physical body could be somehow killed.

Heal Trauma: The ability to erase a person’s memories and to heal mental trauma through “psychic surgery,” the power to stimulate or deaden the pain and pleasure centers in a persons brain.

Mental Sedating: Can telepathically "sedate" her victims so that, if already rendered unconscious, they remain so for as long as she continues to "sedate" them.

Neural Jumpstart: She can increase the speed of neural signals in the brain, she could increase another mutants powers to incredible levels, but the effect was only temporary.

Dilate Power: Ability to place “psychic inhibitors” in the minds of mutant adversaries to prevent them from using their powers.

Mind Link: Ability to develop a mental link with any person which remains as a connection to that individual.

Psychic Blast: She can project psychic force bolts which have no physical effects but which can affect a victim's mind so as to cause the victim pain or unconsciousness and turning someone brain-dead.

Astral Projection: She can project her astral form from her body onto Astral Plane or the physical plane. In the physical plane she can travel in astral form over vast distances. In the astral plane, she can mentally create psionic objects and manipulate the aspects of her environment. She can communicate with others astrally through her own will, or through contact with the thoughts and memories of others.

Mental Detection: She can sense the presence of another superhuman mutant within a small but as yet undefined radius of himself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.

Telekinesis
Projection of psychokinetic energy enables her to levitate objects, propel or manipulate them however she wishes, lift herself and move through the air to simulate flight, stimulate individual molecules to create heat, generate concussive force as blasts or bursts, and create protective shields.

Special Skills and Other:

Jean has shown some proficiency in hand-to-hand, non-psionic combat; the extent of this is unknown as she prefers to utilize her telekinesis and telepathy during battle.

Jean possesses the normal human strength of a woman of her age, height and build who engages in moderate regular exercise.

Equipment: Jean does not use any equipment other than her abilities and her fists.

History: Jean Grey is the younger daughter of History professor John Grey and his wife Elaine. She was the only one in her family to manifest mutant powers, which began when she turned 10 years old. Thinking she could be treated and cured, her parents took her to meet with Charles Xavier but that had an absolutely different effect on her. Charles using his machine "Cerebro" to fine tune her took Jean into the astral plane where part of her mind manifested into a Phoenix Raptor. This caused Xavier to use his powers to erect shields to dampen Jean's powers until she was old enough to control them properly.

She became his star pupil and learned under him how to control her powers properly. She's been fighting alongside not only the Xmen but other teams when called upon to help when danger arises. She is very strong, even at her age to be a fearsome fighter and while the latent Phoenix inside her can eventually try to take her over, she's been able to resist the pull of the phoenix for now. But even she doesn't know how long that will last. Jean has also traveled into the future, seeing things that she'd never thought in her life she would see, including that Scott Summers, the man she knows to be Cyclops had killed Charles Xavier, she herself was dead (not sure how that happened but the school seemed to be then named after her) and Beast was dying from a second mutation. In this future, because Xavier was dead, all of his blocks he'd placed on her were gone and she became overwhelmed when she looked into the mind of Cyclops and found herself repulsed by him. She used her telepathy to help Hank to be saved from his death while rejecting Scott for his hand in killing Xavier.

She only returned to the past (well it was more like the present truth be told) when she was sure the problems of that future were resolved, but now that she's back from that future and has to work through the complications it has created for her now that all of her powers have been unlocked and she's seen a side of Scott that she's not sure she wants to ever see again. Will she be able to handle it all though? That is the question she's determined to find out.

I have taken the oath of the Drake

Livin in MD now.

Not taking anymore one on ones but ones already discussed with the partners.

Captain Whitebread

We so could have used Teen Jean against Kang.

As far as I know we no Iron Man.  Or as Laura referred to him an alcoholic man whore....

I´m debating creating an original character...an illegitimate son of Tony Stark, but building him will be an undertaking.  I´d do Iron Man, but I like Logan better and I don´t want to be two teachers.

My Introduction

Sir Haley

Hero Name:  Prototype

Legal Name: Nicholas ´Nick´ Holtman

Origin of Power:  Developed through hard work and passed down through family

Age: Eighteen

Powers:  Nick is incredibly intelligent and gifted in engineering, like his father.  The suits he uses provide him with a vast personal weaponry in ballistic, energy and explosive weapons as well as flight, superhuman strength and speed and unparalleled tactical analysis.  Nick is also well versed in hand-to-hand combat.

Equipment:  He has access to all of Iron Man and War Machine´s suits

History:  Born the son of Tony Stark and Ellen Holtman, Nick was given the world to his feet.  However, when Tony left his mother, Ellen resolved to raise her son without Tony´s help, whatsoever.  His father would attempt to send money, yet she would decline, refusing to allow Tony to be near her son.  Tony did want to be with him, yet Ellen did not want Tony´s life for Nick.  She wanted to raise him in a way that Nick would be nothing like his father.

Nick Fury kept the secret of Nick, Tony´s son, to protect the boy and Ellen.  Nobody knew of the boy´s existence, and those that did never connected him to Stark.

Nick is a charming, respectful young man who refuses to associate with any sort of drugs or alcohol, much unlike Tony.  He followed Tony´s every achievement, knowing he could reach the same level, if not higher if he worked hard to achieve it, something Ellen would instill in him.  The superhero scene was something that drew his attention, how these men and women saved so many lives until one day Tony wound up dead.  Iron man was gone, forever.  Nick was shattered, even if he never truly knew Tony.  The man was his FATHER.  And when Tony´s will gave Nick access to all of the suits he ever created, Nick didn´t know what to do, so the angry young man thought about revenge.  That was the day that Kang found him...

Well, just because Laura sees him that way doesn't mean Rogue wouldn't like a go at him! ;)
