Not that I mind you moving the conversation here, but isn't the point of the intro thread for staff and members seeking approval to converse?
It is but as I'd asked several questions already, I wanted to move our conversation here so other staff, mentors and members can get to know you too. Don't want to 'hog' you after all

Plus it was a good way to show you another part of E, a cunning plan on my part...

What sort of plots are your favorites though and same question to the ones that you've enjoyed so much that you either went solo on them or tried it with a new partner?
I have several, but the two that come to mind both involve dragons.
One was about a Sky Commander, who well, commanded the cavalry that could fly (wyverns, dragons, griffons, etc) and a stable hand. He eventually joins the cavalry. I was really enjoying the setting and characters, but life happened to my partner and they vanished.
That was years ago. The second is more recent. It's actually the sample of writing that I left in my intro. A dragonless dragon rider and an injured dragon meet. We didn't get very far. Life, again.
I tend to be something of a romantic at heart but as romance can come in many forms the stories I've particularly enjoyed have covered a range of genres and content - I do love a good historically set story though (bit of a history geek). Stories with love of the epic sort are my cup of tea. <3 Whether it's a runaway princess and the pirate captain she falls for, or the enemies who end up closer than they would ever have expected to be.
One of the ones I ended up writing solo was a WW2 story about a German POW sent to work on a farm in the UK and the widow he ended up working for. My partner was wonderful but vanished and the idea was too vivid in my mind to just let it go. So, after waiting a long time, I started from the beginning and completed it for Nano one year. It's one of my many novel projects I plan to go back and polish at some point.

And oooh, dragons! They sound fabulous storylines but it's true, sometimes even the most
awesome of stories can't escape the effects of real life.
