I believe so. You must care deeply about/have a strong connection to that person to carry a reminder of them for the rest of your life.

I met a woman in my life who got the initials of a guy tattood the third time she met him. Yet, it meant nothing for her. Strange people that roam this planet.

Honestly, I would honestly have to get another M. I now have a lion's head ( we are both Leos ) on my left chest, right where my heart is, with an M above it. So, not that far off. I will just say it stands for the Ms that matter in my life: Money, Momma and Music.

And Flower, I think we just draw pictures of humans in our minds that we think resembles them, only to find out that their own picture of themselves is something very different. Humans never truely change, they just convey themselves very differently in different times, is my way of seeing things.

I think we're capable of change, on a small and grander scale.

Back to tattoos though, I do kind of want one but I could never decide exactly what to get. I feel like it should mean something if I'm going to wear it...forever.

I think a tattoo does not matter, what it is visually, as long as the meaning behind it is valid. At least, to the person wearing it.
