THE CURSE OF HORNWELL MANOR

Mystics, Spirit Watchers, Ghost Hunters, Crazies or even Liars no matter what you thought of them the Ghost Watchers were one thing above all else... successful. Ever since they had managed to sign a contract with one of the major broadcasting channels and their show had become a hit the Ghost Watchers had known financial success and fame far beyond what had originally expected been. Fans often spoke of how they enjoyed the team dynamic as portrayed through the show, as well as the fact that they always managed to provide a reasoned and logical argument as opposed to just taking things on faith. All in all it was a good time to be a member of America's favorite paranormal investigation team.

Their newest assignment was a place called Hornwell Manor, an old mansion on the east coast which was built in the 1920s, the tales of how the mansion had once been home to a notoriously debauched brothel as well as those of the disappearances, injuries, and even deaths involving the property after that point were well known by everyone in the area. An overnight stay within it's walls would make the perfect season finale! The team would go in, record their night and any spooky events which took place during it, then emerge victorious and get to enjoy some down time before the next season started filming. It was a great plan, what could go wrong?

Ok, so this is my idea for a horror story meets smutty adventure, basically I'm looking for between 2-5 players to to play members of the team while I play the part of the house around them and the spirits within it. The basic premise is pretty simple, over the course of the night the team will come to realize that they have bitten off more than they can chew and be forced to endure the pains, pleasures, and humiliations heaped upon them by malevolent entities within the house that have waited far too long for their next treat. All while the team attempts to unravel the mystery behind the house and escape with their sanity still intact. The story will include lots of paranormal smut, thrills, and possibly even a few chills. Job: Tech Manager

Bio: Born and raised in San Francisco, California. Melissa's parents died in a tragic car accident when she was twelve. The family was on it's way out to dinner when a drunk driver sped through a red light and t-boned the car, killing both adults and leaving Melissa in a wheelchair. The girl moved in with her religious grandmother whom often claimed to talk to spirits. She said to young Melissa that her parents were in heaven, smiling down upon her and they wanted nothing more than for her to walk again. It was cheesy and Mel was sure her grandmother made it up. The woman was over eighty and she was always seeing things. Melissa grew bored with her lack of mobility, unable to participate in the things she used to do, so she instead occupied her time with books. Flights of fancy reading fictional stories were too predictable for the smart little girl so she opted for science and electronics instead. Soon enough she was caught taking apart her grandmother's old radio and received a thorough punishment even though she put it back together again.

One day, her grandmother was out getting groceries and Mel had opted to stay at her desk in her room and tinker. She'd been working on her soldering when she dropped one of her tools. In an effort to get it, she fell out of her chair and found herself on the floor. Melissa tried to get up but couldn't find the strength. When she was ready to give up, however, she felt a force lifting her, something like hands pulling at her. Slowly, surely, Mel stood up. From that moment on she was convinced spirits were real. As she grew up her love of science and the spiritual often clashed and it was occasionally hard to tell which was her passion and which was her hobby. Thankfully, Ghost Watchers came along and gave her the opportunity to mix her two passions. She auditioned for and got a job as the crew's tech manager (tech 'wrangler' she calls it), keeping the equipment in top shape and hooking everything up. She was originally mostly relegated to an off-camera role, but thanks to a low-cut top and some pithy remarks she's gotten more screen time.

Personality: Energetic and approachable, Mel often quickly makes new friends thanks to her friendly attitude. She's versatile enough to girly-girl with ladies, or roll with the guys and toss some playful insults around. Always smiling, usually laughing and never without and optimistic remark. She quiets down some when she's hard at work but even in 'serious mode' she'll occasionally throw out a little joke. She has a love of science and in things beyond which human eyes can see.

Bio: Whilst Sakurako was rather smart with a degree in computer programming, the economy was tough and she was desperate for work, resulting in her joining a temp agency. This unfortunately landed her a job as a crew member on "Ghost Watchers", which would have been great if not for the fact that their techie position was already filled and she was simply regulated to intern work. It's not like she could be angry with the current holder of the job she desired though, as she was kind enough to the point she formed a small crush on the technician despite the fact it'd probably never work out.
Personality: Sakurako is basically your innocent wallflower, commonly having her nose in her laptop when she's off-duty. However, the meek brunette can be decently friendly once she gets to know a person. Those that share her passions of the internet and books though definitely have a head start on the others though.

Reina Snow

Age: 24
Job: The Eye Candy. The one that doesn't really know much, but looks great in night vision cameras.

Bio: Reina graduated from college with a degree in theatre, which is about as useful as eating sand when you're thirsty, if you don't have what it takes to reach the big leagues in Hollywood. She spent a few years milling around, doing odd jobs like waitressing (and despite what she tells other people, a little strip teasing.) Eventually, she got tired of living this life as it barely paid the bills and when she saw the ad looking to hire for the Ghost Watchers crew, she hastily jumped on.

Since then, her career has been good, not great. She occasionally guest stars in other similar ghosthunting TV shows, but just like on her own show, has nothing of much value to add to the team beyond being a pretty face and the ability to say "Did you hear that?! I heard a 'Boop!'" with a straight face. She is most definitely the ditzy sort, and while she likes to put on a brave face, she is usually the one to squeal the loudest when something does actually happen.

Personality: Generally portrayed as the "Silly blonde" stereotype, she gets along with people for the most part as she is certainly friendly and a pretty face always helps in any situation. She is also generally flirtatious, as much as she can be, to anyone, so long as it makes for good TV.

Skills/Talents: Color-matching her outfit. Being the face of the group. Able to scream so loud it might just bring the Manor down.

Job: The 'Psychic'

Bio: Sajida is a huckster, who finds the theatre of Ghost Watchers far more palatable than conning the bereaved, needy and desperate. With little interest in conventional schooling, Sajida worked as apprentice to a series of magicians (mostly as the glamorous assistant). Recently she caught the eye of a studio talent-spotter while performing a public séance (complete with fake ectoplasm). Relatively new to the Ghost Watcher's role, she is still finding her feet.

Personality: On set, Sajida plays up the role of mystic. She has a large stock of seemingly deep phrases and, when those fail, she can fall back on a combination of intuition and detailed background research. In reality, Sajida finds the whole thing laughable. When not 'on duty' she's far more approachable, though she does struggle to contain her sceptical side when dealing with the more 'gullible' team members.

Skills/Talents: Cold/Hot Reading, Ridiculous Pseudo-Philosophy, Self-taught mix of psychology and parapsychology.

Daniel Law

Age: 30

Job: The Presenter. Daniel is the face of the show, he gives the narration and tells the story of each episode to the audience.

Bio:Born in Burlington, Iowa Daniel started to have an interest in the supernatural in high school during a period of his life he refers to as his "goth period", though he tries to avoid the topic whenever possible.For college he moved to LA, determined to reinvent himself, studying American History at UCLA. During this period he maintained his interest in the supernatural. While studying he used his looks to get a few bit parts in in advertisements and extra roles to pay the rent. After college he struggled to find steady work, history majors not being in high demand, until he got the role in Ghost Watchers. He was a surprising pick given his lack of experience but the studio never expected the show to do as well as it did and besides he is technically and expert on the subject.

Getting the Ghost Watchers role was the best thing that ever happened to Daniel, but he's starting to grow bored with the show, but how can he leave, he'll never find anything as good as this gig so he sticks with it. Perhaps his ennui is caused by his inability to make any of his relationship lasts.

Personality: When in front of the camera Daniel radiates affability and enthusiasm. Off camera he is much more aloof. He gets on well with Sajida, respecting her skill at playing a role and connecting with her cynicism. With the rest of the team he has a cordial working relationship, but it would be stretching the truth to say they were friends.

Skills/Talents: -History, he finds the haunted locations and researches their history
 -Confidence, when it comes to looking like he knows what he's doing Daniel is master
 -Cool headed, tends not to panic when shit hits the fan

Sexuality: Hetrosexual, experimented with a bi friend in college, it only confirmed his hetrosexuality.

I can't get an app up, as I have to leave for work in about ten minutes, but you have the pic, and the core of the idea is that she is kind of the butt of the jokes on the show. She doesn't realize most of it is a gag; drama and misdirection to keep the audiences going.

The truth is that she is pretty good at what she does. She isn't afraid of the supernatural, and has had authentic brushes with it in the past. She's a team player, content to let the others have the spotlight while she wanders off in the dark. As far as O/o's, hers match mine, roughly. She's bi, but more focused on her job than banging her coworkers.
