Alright lovely people I have posted the thread for the group game. I hope you enjoy.

https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=245321.0

Also can I get a count of who would not mind their character being kidnapped and potentially beaten and a bit tortured (not beyond comfort level of course) by the captor for information on the Lune de Sang pack?

I'd be good with kidnapping! Jen is new and squishy and they might have an easier time beating up a newbie!

Same here I think Amiya is up for a little excitement, and kidnapping will give her just that.

Submission for Approval

Name: Kris Wright

Age: Appears late 20s

Born or Bitten: Born

Status: Unmated

Height: 6'

Weight: 160

Eyes: Brown

Hair: Bleached blond

Personality: Kris tries to be laid back and easy-going. But it's not easy for him. He's always got at least half a dozen voices whispering in his ears, making demands of him and his time. Sometimes it's difficult for Kris to tell whether those voices belong to the living or to the dead. Kris has a healthy respect for the dead, especially those of the pack. He has to; they're around him all of the time. It's made Kris a little twitchy, but he's grown accustomed to being in the presence of many. Kris is rather fond of modern amenities and has a lot of little gadgets and gizmos, even if he doesn't really know how they work.

History: Kris was born to members of the Lune de Sang pack. He was an unexceptional birth; it was neither easy nor difficult for his mother to bring him into the world. Although Kris was born a little on the small side he wasn't so small as to be a runt. Growing up he seemed to be weaker and slower than other wolf children, but none of them knew what Kris knew. They couldn't hear the voices of the dead. There were stories of wolves who could channel the ancient dead, but the Lune de Sang pack had no one with that gift for over a hundred years and no wolf living with the pack at the time had ever personally seen a wolf with the gift.

So the first couple of times Kris tried to explain, he was greeted with disapproval and skepticism. And a firm, unsparing hand ensured that Kris was unspoiled.

But as Kris grew into manhood he continued to hear the voices. But they made more sense to him in time, and he learned many lessons and came to know secrets that helped him in his life. He became unexceptional - a seemingly submissive member of the pack who performed what was required of him without complaint or fuss and at adequate competency. Kris was called upon a few times to fight, but he was nothing special - a pre-show fighter, something to start the crowd on and prepare them for the main event. Kris lost slightly more than he ever won, but not for lack of trying. Kris's tenacity and under-handed fighting tended to make his losses pretty bad, though: eye gouging and shots to the nuts evoked a special kind of cruelty from Kris's opponents. Whenever Kris lost they had to carry him out of the ring.

Kris is somewhat wealthy. He's not mega-rich, but he's basically set for life. A dead pirate ghost told Kris where he could find a chest of buried gold coins. Kris went, dug them up, and hasn't looked back since.

After Grayson became Ulfric, Kris stopped fighting and tipped his hand. When the pack had the new acreage, Kris began to relocate certain objects and making subtle changes to the landscape. He buried old odd ends and strange bones in the earth, and moved stones and marked trees. Kris said that this would make the territory a place of power for the Lune de Sang and please the honoured dead. Whether anyone believes is something that Kris no longer cares about, nor whether people think he's a liar or crazy. Kris lives in one of the lodges, and from there, he does computer work to bring in legitimate money. But he also does seances and things of that nature, but it's nowhere near as lucrative as his web design. Chances are if you've perused a pornographic website, you've seen Kris's work.

Powers: Kris can see dead people. Dead werewolves appear most strongly and clearly, particularly those of the Lune de Sang pack. But Kris can see and hear dead humans, shifters, and other beings, too. It takes more effort and focus to get a clear view and message from non-wolf shifter dead, but Kris can do it without much trouble. There are certain herbal preparations and places that make doing this easier - Kris has a room in one of the lodges that is a good place for his communions. Kris can take the spirits of the dead into himself and use their presence to make himself more powerful, but it is a fairly dangerous affair. Doing so risks the loss of self - anything from bits of the personality of the dead grafting onto his own to complete eradication of everything that is Kris and the dead taking over his body completely. Kris has - thus far - been smart enough not to do this with powerful or numerous dead. But he knows he's had some close calls . . . and he knows he never used to like broccoli. He can also destroy the spirits of the dead, if he's sufficiently stronger than the spirit in question.

Kris also has the healing powers that one associates with a Vargamor, but he's never used them. He knows he has them, but he chooses not to use them. He hasn't been called upon to do so and has no ambition to be Vargamor.

I honestly doubt the trouble (read:  torn flesh, rent limbs and spilled blood) it would take to even get close to Ellen with ill intent - much less kidnap her - would be worth it to anyone not already in possession of a healthy [unhealthy?] death wish.  I won't speak for Eva though, of course - just one of the twins here ;)

I'm going to have to agree with Eva and Undine: Volke would die during the abduction attempt. No doubt about it.

Sinara can be kidnapped or roughed up if needed. It would take some real effort or planning but Im fine with it so long as it happens believably.

Just an update. I had to make a separate thread for the character list. The link is in the main post. I exceeded the character limit. I probably should have made a separate post under the main one initially, but I'm daft sometimes. So this is the solution.

https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=245349.0

Please let me know if your character isn't on it.

It might be best to make another OOC thread as well on the appropriate board so that we don't fill up the interest thread with chatter.

Name: Octavia Middleton

Age: 24

Born or Bitten: Born

Status: Unmated

Height: 5’5”

Weight: 150

Eyes: Deep Brown

Hair: Natural Black

Rank:Heimdall

Personality: To say Octavia was rough around the edges would be an understatement. A loner at heart she doesn’t get along with most people. She prefers nature over the company of others. Octavia is perfectly content with having no close friends or for that matter acquaintances that stay around for more than a few moments. She is silent and sticks to herself on most occasions but never mistake that for how deadly she can be. Underneath all that silent, brooding sarcasm lies a strong, confident woman ready to defend herself. Her attitude tends to gravitate more towards the sarcastic and rude than fun and bubbly. She’s a people watcher.

History: Life for Octavia started outside the Lune de Sang pack in the rolling mountains of Idaho. Both of her parents lived proudly under their Alpha as Geri and Freki. She lived in a small but powerful clan and life was peaceful for her there. She took comfort in her small group of friends and surroundings that she eventually even began ascending the ranks. She was a willful child then full of life and excitement to learn and see new things. She was even bound to surpass her mother as Geri,at the mere age of 15, before tragedy would ruin her perfect world.

In one whole evening her life was turned upside down. She had left on a solo hunt to perfect her hunting skills to only return to the corpses and carcasses of her once strong pack. Not a soul was left. It was devastating to her at this time seeing her parents bodies stern to bits before her eyes. She was a teenager so filled with rage she would scour the entire state searching for who had killed her family. This was a long journey and unfruitful since they had left no evidence and barely a scent to trace. For years Octavia searched for the murderers, finding work and money where she could. She was alone but never afraid.

It wasn’t until she had reached Seattle that she had decided to slow down. Perhaps it was because she was tired of running or maybe she had found a clue buried within the secrets of Lune De Sang? She doesn’t give up much so we shall have to find out later. Either way she had stumbled upon the pack after the old Ulfric was dead and gone. She has heard many rumors of his rule but doesn’t know very much of him. Octavia feels as though she was accepted into the pack because of her skills as a protector. She would often be available if any new bloods had gotten out of hand. She also offers her services as a body guard and guide.

;D Yaaasss. I can't wait to start. However it's like super duper late so I'll do some creative brainstorming for my first post in the morning.

I'm thinking Octavia needs a job. Not that she would be the most willful employee but definitely worth it? Maybe. Hmmmm decisions..decisions...

She's more than welcome to work at Acilyns Sinful Sweets. It's a sweet shop/cafe. She could be a manager or something. Not sure what you quite had in mind.

That sounds like a plan. She has a bit of a dark side but at least she has cookies!
