Advice on How to Present a System Game?

In general, I've been debating on whether or not to go through a "Step-By-Step" ("For Dummies" guide) process on presenting Character Creation and other features in my games. And I wonder sometimes... maybe I'm doing it wrong? I'm not looking for a system to rip-off, but a general template or example of how some present their system games on Elliquiy. Similar to how writing can be a borrowing game, I feel like I could present my world and idea in a less cluttered way. That's one of the reasons I use spoiler tags, but I wonder if some feel overwhelmed when I organize my ruleset and stuff in my own personal way.

Hmmm. Any thoughts, ladies and gents?  ;)
