The new players start at 13th level. Anycase I could allow 6 HD discount if you monster side wait six levels fill up before pick anything else (unless given a gift as some players had got so far).

  That's entirely fair.

Is it okay to have a good alinged "monster"?   Just want to make sure.

Nothing wrong with it, no. Most of the existing monsters are various shades of neutral or evil, but there's not really any PvP since everyone is more chasing their own stories with overlaps than being some sort of unified 'party'.

I'd love to join, if there's still room. I really enjoyed Zaer's last Epic game. I even tried to pick it back up (twice, I think). It was rather difficult to GM once things really got going. On a related note, things have calmed down quite a bit and I could also GM NPCs if there's a need.

There is room, the biggest trial is to create your char and type the charsheet up :).

expressing interest, on the good side there is a template called sanctified (I think) that can make any creatures alignment that it is on good.

Yeah, although I would house rule it does not remove spell-alikes nor extraordinary abilities but it removes any evil subtype or any spells or abilities which have evil tag on it (like corrupted fireball spell-alike ability is entirely removed or animate dead spell-alike).

Zaer made it clear I'm not allowed to come here and scare potential fresh blood away. So I'll just say hello as anything more personal is likely to do exactly that.

Also Zaer ruled I couldn't use Greater Doppelganger in the past and made it clear to someone else who was interested that Mind Flayer is not an option. I suppose if he is more flexible I might seek restitution.

Greater doppleganger with your char or as cohort/follower? I think I denied one as cohort/follower perhaps. Also in second recruitment I am more open as I increase the level cap compared to original recruitment (and also slight change as mind flayer was out because HD + LA but now we base it on CR mostly).

I mean personally, I'd rather just avoid anything like Greater Doppleganger or Illithid Savant nonsense just by banning them entirely (regular Mind Flayer's okay though). It's not like we don't have nine hundred gazillon other options out there.

Yeah, greater doppleganger and illithid savant are no go. Although I did play on idea for greater doppleganger so it can mimic skills of those who brains he eats but only half or perhaps 1/4 as good (for deception purposes).

Either way it's a fine idea. I'm happy with my Keeper of the Grove Chameleon. I'm sure binding the Lords of Hell gives me flexibility enough, why should I complain?

I do look forward to ICly interacting with new players should they venture my way.

So, my idea's been moving around a bit.  I really don't like to play magical classes because I hate keeping track of magic spells, so my magical class is the Factotum.  The secondary class is the Monk + Fist of the Forest.  He's a Leonal (12 CR - 12 HD) who's been Lolth Touched.  http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=690815

His backstory's just your basic dude that sort of got into martial arts, and then kind of became obsessed with it, only to then became too obsessed with it.

It would be cool if you guys could check out his stats before I worked on anything else and let me know if I have to change anything before I compiled a backstory or completed the sheet.

Was he a basic dude who became a Leonal, or a basic dude that happens to be a leonal?

He was never a humanoid.  He has always been a Leonal.  Just... not an extraordinary member of his species.

What I glanced over the stats they look okay. Although as note as paragon leonal you were 'born' special (gifted basically). Lolth-touched template is something what normaly does not apply to you but I presume your using different deity as a sponsor?

I think it's really cute that he's one of the most powerful beings in the cosmos but he doesn't even acknowledge it.  Instead he's just a normal kind of guy living an acetic life and secretly hopes he'll find a friend, or more, who knows how to cook well. Even weapons are a little too rich for his blood.

How do you do everyone?

Zaer, as a Storm Giantess Erised is size huge.

She doesn't nessiciarly need a mount, having a land speed of 150 and a swim speed of 120, but it would be nice to have one?

I want to ask for a dragon mount, but a size gargantual gold dragon is extremely formidable...

Do we have normal level 13 resources?

Oh, I have a familar too.  I was going to take Improved Familair of some sort.  Or maybe I should fold my mount  and familair abilties together for something awesome?

By our rules special mounts/cohorts/familiars are also Paragon OR gestalt. I'm pretty sure Zaer can come up with a way for you to have a gold dragon mount thats. I think without the template or class levels Ancient Gold Dragon would be the appropriate power level. Maybe even Wyrm. If you'd rather be conservative "Very Old".

All up to Zaer but it sounds about the right range as what your other options might equal.

Well, cohorts are same level as you are and dragon cohort gives you a dragon as a cohort. I offhand do not remember did said feat count your cohort based on CR or HD. Also you get 200,000gp in char creation, which half can be spend on single item (which is labelled then as legendary item, basically iconic item which belongs part of your legend).
