Looking For a GM

instead of the usual stuff of a bunch of cross-overed characters going on some adventure to save the multiverse we can instead see them all meeting up at one of various clubs sitting back, having a shot or two, snorting coke, watching the game or just dancing.

Its a place for the characters to meet up and let their hair down after countless times either rescuing or trying to destroy or rule their world in the multiverse. Maybe some of the heroes are real assholes or just completely sick of their jobs. Maybe the villains are actually very active in their local PTA or have standards despite what they do.

This would be much more of a laid back RP i'm thinking, maybe following regular patrons, the bouncers/bodyguards, servers and maybe even the owner of the club and the kind of crazy stuff that would happen while running a club with a multiversal staff and clientele.

They could be anything from Cartoon characters, to people from books, movies, TV, videogames. Just imagine Bugs Bunny getting into a bar brawl with Mario before having the fight broken up by Robocop or John Wick...total Glorious madness.

Hey so I have an idea of playing Tony Montana with a difference. He is still the ruthless, power hungry gangster with few morals that we all know and love but he isn't at the top of the foodchain here, he is possibly head bouncer or personal body guard of the owner so takes more orders than he is used to. He is still ignorant as hell and does not like being told what to do, also he likes to think he runs the club but always reluctantly bends to the will of his superior/s; he mostly deals with this by muttering or making comments slightly under his breath, although on rare occasion will speak up or storm off in a violent rage. (more traits ect will be added as thread goes on).

I'm not sure...nothing too insane I guess? IF one person is too OP then it might ruin it for others.

I'll have final say on what gets in or not. Tony Montana is okay, as he's only superhuman when coked out of his mind. Theory: Tony Montana is Snowflame.

I'm...not sure. So much to draw from... I could literally just play Rubi Malone some more, lol.

Or John Wick after he's shot everybody from his world and got his second dog.

Or Chev Chelios, and that pretty much says everything about which direction he'd go. Repeatedly jabbing himself with a Taser or jamming his finger into a power outlet all the time.

Or....hell, even the Sundance Kid.

I'd suggest you have some sort of system for it, I.E. "global balance" so to speak so no one character is significantly more powerful than another. Depends on how you want to do it, either way I have zero problems with things being okay'd/not okay'd.

I hate to bring the Manacles of Limitation in so early, but until we get some more interest, i will be limiting it to the dreaded "2 characters per player".

And on the subject of Dr. Manhattan, well, it's not like the omnipotent character is uncommon. I can always just drop Elizabeth Comstock on someone i feel is getting out of control and she wins the inevitable fight because GM says Fuck you. My hope, however, is that you pick a character you want to play for their personality and i don't have to pull from my list of Classic GM Screw Yous.

It feels kind of odd...you have a chance to play any character in the universe and change their story to show how they came to be where they are and all sorts of stuff but you instead chose to create an original character?....*shrug* I don't know...I guess?

Haha, I still have no clue what I am going to do, and as far as OC's go I'm personally not that interested, but curious seeing as the idea was posed.

Seeing as how the whole point of this idea is to play as canons...sorry Yugi, you know i love you, but I'm going to say no to OCs. Lustful has every right to overturn this declaration if she wants, but until then OCs are a no.

Well so far, characters from comics, film, and video games have been mentioned. Anime would not be too far of a stretch of credibility. You could roll up with Sailor Mercury if you wanted

I haven't really watched Sailor Moon, so I don't have that much of an in-depth look on the character. I think I'll just keep this in bookmarks for some amusing reading material.

We are still open and looking for players. I'll be posting a bare bones character sheet, feel free to add to it, but this is the minimum I want from all applicants:

Character Name:
History: (As in, where do they come from and what did they do)
And Then What?: This is what happened AFTER the show, movie, game, whatever.
Image: At least one image so everyone knows who they're talking to.

Also, characters who died are perfectly valid. This is, after all, a game for fun.

Hmmm....I believe I'll keep an eye on this.  I've got a few characters I might be interested in trying out, but I need to think on it a bit first.  (namely because the list of character ideas is as long as my arm, and needs narrowing down >.<)

Any chance I could play Maleficent?  Seriously, she is my favourite Canon character ever, ever since I first saw Sleeping Beauty when I was a little girl I wanted to be her... And every RP I look at that has the possibility, either she's already taken or she's been declared unplayable as being too powerful...

And I promise I won't have her overpowered... maybe her magic is severely limited in this universe? She can still change herself into a dragon, but breathing fire is frowned upon...
