Topic: Looking for a "Top Cow" comics fan. (Or just a comics fan in general.)

Hello there!

Yeah, this is perhaps a somewhat odd issue, but here it is anyway: Once I've gone out and bought both the Bloodborne Expansion set and Fallout 4 coming this month, I'm going to have just a tiny little bit of spare cash lying around that I could either save up (Which would be responsible and very mature of me) or spend on something else, the latter being the most likely option.

Now, I've been looking at this "Top Cow" comics bundle shown here: https://www.humblebundle.com/books

At the price of 15 dollar and the good consciousness that comes with giving to charity it's definitely a decent deal, no doubt about that. Right now I'm tempted to buy it purely because of Sunstone which I've had the good fortune to read a bit of already, and sweet heavens do I adore it. I have never seen any of the others before though, and my personal experience with comics is limited to being a big Marvel fan and having dabbled in a bit of DC comics when given the chance.

So here are my questions:

1: Are any of the other comics listed any good?

2: Are any of the other comics erotic or explicitly adult?

3: Are the more issues in each individual series? Would I only be purchasing the introductions to several franchises and then be left in need of making further investments to conclude them, making this whole thing a lot more expensive than it initially seems? (I'd hate to be reading the first issue and then be left with a ton of cliffhangers.)

I hope someone can come back to me soon as the deal expires in roughly 2 days! ^^

That's a pretty subjective things.  I can tell you that I enjoyed the different IXth comics, Tales of Honor (though it's based on my favorite book series), and Genius.  I haven't read any of the others, but I usually enjoy Top Cow comics. 

2: Are any of the other comics erotic or explicitly adult?

Not in the vein of Sunstone. Some of them do have some more adult content, but nothing really explicit that I can remember.  Please take that with a grain of salt, there's a chance I've forgotten something.

3: Are the more issues in each individual series? The one's that are coming in Volumes are going to be complete story arches, but that doesn't mean they aren't still ongoing or that the overarching story is completed within the ones you are getting.  I suggest going to ComiXology or another site where you can look them up and see if they are still ongoing, or if there are more volumes out already. Anything that you're only getting a few issues of are most likely not complete and will require more investment if you want to continue reading them.

That was exactly the sort of answer I was looking for. :) I'm still somewhat on the fence about making the actual purchase, but part of me just really wants to read Sunstone again. I also sort of figured that the others probably weren't as explicit as it would seem odd for Humblebundle to offer a "Porn bundle". At least, they probably wouldn't do it without restricted access. That being said, porn for charity is a great idea, but that a totally different topic!
