Set in the universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The war has never happened, and the four Nations live in a tenuous peace. The Fire Nation expands its military but shies away from conquest. the Water Tribe remain secluded but slowly branch out to the rest of the world. The Earth Kingdom remains a strong and widespread empire, the only thing keeping the Fire Nation from becoming so bold. And the Air Benders remain the peace keepers and mediators through out all of the civilized world.

Taega's Crossway is a bustling and active turn pike, a city which inter joins eleven different trade routs, all of which are frequently used by all of the Nations. Because of this, the city is often packed with Benders of every spectrum, and though security is tight, there is often issues with prejudice.

Four young Benders have come to here for whatever reasons, and because of the lack of vacancy, must brave the ominous weather and camp outside, near the ruins of Old Taega's Crossway. A flash flood strikes, and they are forced to seek shelter inside the ruins.

The city of Old Taega's Crossway was run by a strong and terrible Earth Bender, who extorted the cities prime location for his own ends. When finally the Earth Kingdom came to remove him from his position, he broke the honeycomb of labyrinths underneath the city, bringing the entire thing down and killing almost everyone in the process. The few that managed to crawl out of the smashed and sunken city claimed his final words were "If I can't have this Crossway, then it goes back to the Earth..."

Now trapped inside this collection of caves and destroyed city, the four Benders must face rising waters, strange creatures and prejudice to escape.

The characters are left to discussion, but there will be two per player. The templates I came up with are...

Earth Bending boy. Sensible, a mediator and cool headed. Farm worker and has a great knowledge of survival and general druid like experience. An average Bender.

Water Bending boy. Timid, easily upset, eager to help but fumbling and lacks confidence. A stronger Bender then he realizes. Orphaned with civilian God Parents

Air Bending girl. Kind, optimistic, fair, and fiercely protective towards the Water Bender. Talented Bender. Priestess with her homes Temple.

Fire Bending girl. A loner, short tempered, proud, and stubborn. Especially cruel towards Water Bender, but is secretly bi-curious towards Air Bender, which makes her even more reclusive. A mediocre Bender at best... heir to a rich and powerful Merchant family.

I would control the Earth and Fire benders, preferably :)

Okay, I'm thinking this game may lack fight sequences, aside from some appropriate cave dwelling creatures. I'm toying with the idea of having smugglers using the sunken city as a way to secretly move their black market business in and out of Taega's Crossway. Naturally, things would be thrown into confusion with the flood and the smugglers would be disorganized and doing what they can to keep their operations alive in the flood. Also, some of the creatures could be particularly stirred up by the flooding.
