A zombie apocalypse

For this one, my character would be a marine first lieutenant, starting with her platoon taking position in a street in a city on the US West coast. Your character could be a civilian, or ex military, or even on leave. Its based on a book series I read, could be like the walking dead. I havnt watched fear the walking dead yet, but I will be.
