Immortality. That ultimate holy grail that humanity has sought after for thousands of years. Now, finally it was achieved. After a fashion. And for those who could afford it. And for those who could sleep, knowing what was done to achieve it.

In a world where the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, many of the affluent wish to be immortal at any cost. As long as there were human organs to transplant, almost any sickness, any disease was curable. Transplant a heart. Transplant fresh kidneys. Take a head, or even just a brain and transplant it onto a new body if necessary.

And then the rich, living hundreds of years, become yet richer still, more powerful. More corrupt. Manipulating laws to allow things that were once considered horrors. Why shouldn't someone be able to use their organs as surety on a debt? Why shouldn't someone be able to sell themselves into servitude?

This role play will take place in a dystopian cyberpunk future. A world ruled by powerful corporations and extremely wealthy individuals, while most of the population struggles to survive. A world of seedy intrigue, of corporate greed and criminal scum all mixed with a glorious mix of technology.

You will be a young woman, struggling to survive in this harsh world. You have recently been diagnosed with a strain of nanobot virus in your system -- a virus unleashed during the Succession Wars, consisting of tiny nanobots infecting your system, which will eventually killed you if not purged. The government has paid to have you sterilized so you are not contagious, but to actually get cured you will have to pay for it yourself. Your treatment will run as much as two hundred thousand credits they say. A trivial sum for many, but in a place where a bartender makes only thirty thousand credits in a good year, a lot of money for you.

How will you survive? What will you turn to? Will you find something highly illegal to do to make up the money? Perhaps you will sell your body? Or maybe you will even sell yourself into servitude, hoping you find someone who finds you attractive enough to pay for your treatment?

This will be a very open role play in which we will explore this dark seedy world together. There are many possible outcomes, and you should be prepared for things to possibly get very harsh.
