O:)

Would the drafts also be possible for PMs?

Sorry for taking so long to reply.   Yes - I'm pretty sure I could add that.  It's now on my to-do list to investigate properly.

Finally a new version out.  Sorry for being tardy about releasing new features but my holidays left a bit of a backlog that is now finally clearing :)

This version is courtesy of Evrem who asked for the ability to add an 'All' link to bookmarks so that you can go straight to the view showing all topics.  You can switch the feature off/on in the 'Bookmarks' section (formerly 'Bookmark Tags') of the settings.  It is on by default.

Nope, I only posted in them once a while back. I have to manually check the New Replies link to see if those ignored threads have new posts (so I presume the Ignore Replies option is working fine). But every week or two I spontaneously see New Replies updates to the same couple of threads.

Hi,

Sorry for slow reply but I've been on vacation.  Can you let me know which threads it is that seem to be throwing up the issue?   It may be something peculiar to the way that the code interacts with them.

Hokay... something really odd happened with the hosting and we ended up losing the scripts so I uploaded a new copy and then the hosting reverted to an older version.  I'm suspecting someone erroneously deleted stuff and restored from backup.  Apologies to anyone who got confuze/messed about.

Anyway...  new version up there that should add drafts to PMs.

Oooh, this is nice.

If you want/need further testing on the various browsers, I'd be happy to help with doing so. Further testing on other OSes will have to wait, unfortunately until I am in my own apartment and can get my other devices back online as currently, I'm on Windows 10. And the Kindle.

Sorry - I don't know how this happened but I somehow missed you post and didn't reply :(  Very bad of me...

The more folks testing the better although I can't say I have anything approaching a testing plan.  I use win 8 / FF at work and about to hop on to win 10 (with FF) at home.  I test on both machines (a little) with chrome but rarely with anything else and only with chrome if I have reason to suspect there might be problem.

Would this account for why every title of my bookmarks says [All] at the end of each one? It wasn't there an hour ago and now they are on every bookmark, even ones that I did not place tags on. Clicking that [All] just takes me to the topic I'm clicking. I don't see how it is part of the script because I imagine if that were so, that all the other bookmarks that I do have tags for, would have those listed, as well. I'm wondering only if it's part of the script or some new feature for E?

Hi,

It is part of the script.  It adds the link to all bookmark links and it goes straight to he all-posts view of the thread rather than the paged view.  If you don't want/need it (like me) you can switch it off in the Bookmarks section of the script settings :)

Wow - finally got a chance to play with this a bit, and it's wonderful!!!!

If I could suggest one tiny thing that would make it even more useful (IMO) --

Snippets -- is there a way to be able to organize these?  I have a bunch, and I'd love to be able to either alphabetize or order so that the most used is at the top.

Also, apparently I have so many snippets that they no longer fit on the screen, and I haven't yet found a way to scroll down to the ones lower on the list.

If there already is, I haven't found it yet, but I'm still learning. ;)

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words and the input :)  I've now got it sorted snippets in the menu and I've added the ability to use snippets from the snippets form (the one where you add/edit/delete snippets).  This is because the menu only allows a certain number of entries (and gets rather unwieldy if you have more anyway).  More improvements to snippets soon (I hope) :)

Is there a cap on how many Quick Topics one can have?

There probably is.. by virtue of the menu having a finite size.  However, I've never reached it.

This doesn't seem to work for me. The link works (it appends ";all" to the link) but it doesn't give me any different view, it still shows up with the normal number of posts per page. I could just be being thick and expecting the wrong thing, though?

Hi,

This feature is tied in with the forum software's own 'All' feature which means it only works if the number of pages is in a certain range (I think it's ~2-9 but I can't swear to it).  If there is only 1 page then you see everything anyway.  If the number of pages is beyond a certain number than the forums don't offer an 'All' option (presumably because doing so would time it out).

Oh... My lord.

So I finally just got around to installing this. It looks fantastic. Mostly I'm looking for better bookmark management (cause my list is getting... excessive >.>). With the script installed though, my previous bookmark tab is gone? How... In the world do I get those back without wandering the boards trying to find everything.

Nevermind. I'm blind.

Edit, edit: Is it possible to disable the Replies tab?

Also found this. I'm gonna shut up now >.>

Cold this possibly do something or change something that makes the icon that takes me to the last/most resent post disappear? I am also missing the icon before my messages in my pm box that says if that message has been replied to or not.

Would your script work if someone only has Internet Explorer?

Sorry to take so long to respond (been struggling a bit with stuff of recent).  It's possible although I don't know why it would.  It shouldn't really be messing with that cell in the table.

I'll try and take a bit of a poke at it tomorrow and see if I can duplicate the issue you've got.

Hmmmm... simple answer is that I've never tried it but I'm told that there's an addin/plugin/extension called Trixie that can run greasemonkey scripts for IE.  Beyond that little bit of info I'm a bit clueless I'm afraid as I've not used IE really in at least 10 years.

My 'Snippets' link that I used to see from the 'Reply' screen has disappeared?

I tried updating the script, but ... I can still access 'Snippets' from the menu bar, but the little link was so helpful.  Any idea of how to get it back?

A little more experimenting seems to suggest that the link is tied to the number of Snippets set.  I have one too many.  If I take one off, the link comes back just above the compose screen.  If I put it back, the link disappears again the next time I use 'Reply'.

Hi,

I'll try and take a look.  Could you possibly let me know how many tips it over the edge and which browser you are using?  That will help me narrow down my search/testing :)

Thanks -- sorry to be a bother. :-)

I am using Firefox, and with 22 Snippets the link is there, with 23 it disappears.
