Elliquiy Wiki take 2...
« on: October 26, 2008, 10:45:02 PM »
Some of you may or may not have noticed that Elliquiy has had a Mediawiki installation for some time now.

I've installed a new version, with a better SMF Authentication plugin, which should be more flexible and easier to use.

Currently, the entire wiki is private to Elliquiy approved members, but I want to make the main, help, project ('Elluiki'), and mediawiki namespaces public. That means, for those of you who placed content in the main namespace (Ie, - no colon (:) in the name at all), you may want to move it over to the Private namespace, meaning, the above page should be moved to

The pretty urls shouldn't break any included images or links, etc. I decided it was smarter to leave the ugly stuff under /elluiki instead of doing it the 'proper' way. : )

Anyway, if anyone wants to help Moondazed manage the wiki, please let me know. Thanks.

Wait... I understood that there's now a public Elluiki. But if we want to move things to the private namespace, how do we go about doing that?

Your user page is fine, but if you wanted to move say:

You'd go to that page, click on move on the top there, and enter: Private:Herodias_Academy
