I can't access my messages/ profiles?

I haven't been active on the site for a while, I took a break. Came back and was trying to get back into things when I noted that I couldn't access my messages or anyone's profile page? Was I restricted in some way? The last time I was here I didn't leave on any bad terms, my role-plays had died so I simply took a break. What happened?
