Possibly! I actually rather like that...it would give plenty of room for supplies and weapons and could even throw a couple cages in the back for captives.

And she can add a trailer hitch if needed and put a few guns on that bad boy.  >:)

That is one sexy truck... Looks like a gas guzzler though.

Also looks like it'd be a giant 'come and raid me' sign. If she's a specialist I'd think she'd have something smaller and faster for quick movement on specialized objects - etc. -Tries to find a decent pic-

Well considering the technological advances I figured gas mileage would have gone up substantially considering we nearly had true artificial intelligence before the world went boom.

Will have to think on it. If I go with the truck it'll be modified to have a rack on the back end for a motorcycle so she has something zippier for specialized jobs.

In the mean time, would anyone like to rp privately or otherwise for background/connection creation in the mean time?

Male or female, raider or not - maybe discuss potential histories? Feel free to message me!

Vehicle added for Lex. Went with one of the trucks you sent me Urban and added a rack in the back to carry a bike when she needs to make a quick and dirty run. :)

Great, can't wait to see it.

Also it looks like we now have 3 raiders (4 pending Chreestafer's character) and two captives. Meaning we need more captives. I'm willing to start us off without current numbers given that adding captives into the game should be relatively easy as it goes along. That having been said of anyone wants to play a captive please feel free to post them up.

Name:  Sammy "Pretty Boy" Parilla;
Position in Gang:  Reconnaissance;
Age:  24

Physical Details:   Sammy has gotten into some scrapes before, but nothin' he couldn't brush off after a while.  Sure, he walks with something of a limp and has a hard time lifting his left arm over his head, but you shoulda' seen the other guy.  Sammy doesn't have any tattoos or piercings, but he's got plenty of scars from being shot, stabbed, battered, and... whatever the verb is for when someone throws a frag at you and it explodes.  Exploded?  Peppered with metal shit?  Who knows.

Character’s Sexuality: M/F

Personality:   Sammy's usually easy-going, but he has a short fuse.  He can be an obnoxious braggart in front of broads, but fortunately, he spends most of his time trekking alone.

Bio:   Sammy is Bennie's boy.  You remember Bennie?  Good shooter and a fine trapper, God bless his soul.  Bennie... well, Bennie was a marksman during the Iraq War during the 90s, and he tried to do best by his son during this whole shit show.  Bennie taught Sammy how to shoot and how to hunt.  He taught him how to survive off the land, and how to stalk one's prey.  All in all, Sammy lacks Bennie's hardness.  Bennie could be something of a mean motherfucker.  The stuff of nightmares.  An intimidating man with a nasty temper.  His son is probably just as brave and maybe as good a shot, but he's a bit too kind.  At least, he ain't the lying, cheatin', stealin' son of a bitch that his daddy was.

Nah, Sammy's a fine shot.  He's a real marksman, with the work ethic of a migrant and the hardiness of a mountain man.  He can drag his ass across sleet or sand and come up unnoticed on a camp, and he can go weeks without talkin' as he covers our range.  He's a real thinker, you know?  Intuitive about "the journey," as he calls it, and pretty good at it, too.

Vehicle:   When Sammy is ranging, he prefers to use a Polaris Sportsman MV850 ATV.  When with the pack, Sammy usually stores his ATV in the back of somebody's truck and rides with them.

Weapons:   Sammy is outfitted with the following items:
  • Remington M24 SWS sniper rifle with scope;
  • Mossberg 500 Thunder Ranch automatic shotgun with flashlight;
  • tactical tomahawk;
  • A MOLLE belt, a riggers belt, an H-harness;
  • Military rucksack;

Player’s Limits:   See player's;

Name: Z
Age: 30
Physical Details:
Her body holds a plethora of scars and burn patches but none compare to the wounds clear in her bleak, amethyst eyes. Born to a clean slate, both her flesh and hues tell the same story of survival and hardship they’d all had to endure.  Her hair won’t grow along various parts of her body and head due to radiation exposure earlier in her life.

Character’s Sexuality: M/f
Personality: Kill first, No questions need apply.
Bio:

Z was previously known as Zana Dogobi, she was about eight years old when the war took its toll on the world. She’d been one of the few lucky enough to survive with her parents intact but this blessing was quick to turn into a curse. She’d witnessed firsthand her parents’ brutal murder, her father slaughtered and gutted like a fish while her mother was passed around for a few hours before she too died internal bleeding caused by her rape lacerated intestines and vagina. They kept Z and she became bait for those last few surviving souls that held a stitch of compassion in them. Who could resist an adorable, starving little girl?

Many, actually. As a matter of fact, she’d learned over the years that more approached her to take advantage of her young prepubescent body rather than to actually help her. At first she wept for the ones that wished to truly aid her but as the cold reality crept past her flesh and dug itself deep within her being she became every bit as callous as her own attackers. To this day the woman has spent the majority of the last ten years alone, and when she wasn’t it was only because of her soft spot for children like herself – even if a large majority of them were a bunch of fuckin’ little punks.
(Please forgive these short bios, I honestly prefer histories be learned through rp, lol.)

Status: Not yet taken.
Player’s Limits: scat, anal, extreme sadism.

Name: Kyler "Bible" Bishop or just "Bible"
Position in Gang: not sure yet
Age: 35
Physical Details: Deep burn marks on his arm and torso covered by tattoos
Character’s Sexuality: Omni
Personality: At times Kyler can be with drawn from the group.  Talking to himself as he reads or completes his daily missions. Yet once he gets talking to others he's quiet generally a nice guy.  Yet don't cross the ones he cares for, specially his members of his group.
Bio: Kyler was born prior to the bombs dropping.  He never met his parents as his father was killed over seas and his mother had passed away at birth.  He grew up most of his life working in his grandmothers book store and praying at his grandfathers church.  His grandfather was a preacher and before the old man passed away, a few years before the bombs, he gave Kyler his old pocket bible, an item that Ky treasures to this day. Life was happy and content, and life in the book store made the outside worlds troubles drown away between the pages of a good story.  The book store was heaven on earth, until the bombs fell and the world plummeted into chaos. At first they were able to fend off any raiders or bandits they could, but then the times got to bad.
His grandmother was murder in cold blood, and the store was set on fire while he was asleep above it.  He suffered serious wounds that he would later try to cover up in an old run down town by a dirty tattoo artist.  He traveled from town to town finding work as a handy man or a mercenary at times.  Recently though he found the services of one man who he learned might be a rising force in the area.  This is where Kyler finds himself now, working to survive while trying to keep some sense of morals and humility to him.
Vehicle: Rides along with the group via any vehicle.
Weapons: a Louisville Slugger, Dual Colt revolvers with engraved wooden grips, long barrel .22 (mainly used for hunting for food), hand axe
Player’s Limits: gore, vore, just look at my ons and offs.

@Amarlo: Accepted

@Chreestafer: Accepted

Alright, our current count is 5 raiders and 3 captives. With that in mind I'd say I'm willing to get us started. Though I'm still hoping for an additional captive or two.  I'll try to have the IC thread up either sometime tonight or sometime tomorrow.
