You'd think Hunter would survive here, though. It's a great line, I'd say it's stronger than Mage.

New World of Darkness hunters do not have any special powers, unless you do the conspiracies thing. FallenDabus said this game won't have that. People just like prefer funky powers when playing nwod I guess.

I expect that you guys are right. I would like to see this become a Massive Multi-Game Crossover though, so it may still work out eventually.

Well, we do have the three of you. If you can each get me a fully complete character sheet in the next couple of days, we may be able to give it a shot, although life has gotten unexpectedly busy again. I do need everything on the sheets though, including background, images, breaking point questions, and aspirations, since that's how I'm judging if people are really into this idea and so far I don't have them.

Also, Werewolf 2e is supposed to be on DTRPG today!

Heh. Would be kinda neat to pick up a splat later on or something. But thats just my penchant for shiny objects talking. I'll beable to get started on my sheet today.

Also; Oooh, thats neat, i hope they fixed them, i loved the wolves but their stuff was pretty wonky before.

Questions
What is the worst thing your character has ever done? This
doesn’t have to be anything dastardly. If the worst
thing your character ever did was steal money from
his mother’s purse and lie to cover it up, that’s fine.
What’s important here is to consider something that
your character did that made him hate himself. The
superlative “worst” is something that the character
would apply. Choose a breaking point based on the
answer to this question.
• What is the worst thing your character can imagine himself
doing? We imagine ourselves in various scenarios to test
our own self-image against a hypothetical situation.
When children do it, it’s called imaginative play, but it
fills the same niche. What can you can character reasonably see himself doing, but still know that it would be
wrong? Can your character imagine killing someone in
self-defense? Torturing someone for information? How
about robbing a store with a gun?
• What is the worst thing your character can imagine someone else doing? Of course, we all know that people are
capable of some hideous atrocities. What tops your
character’s list? Serial murder? Rape? Torture? Spree
killing? If your character is extremely sheltered or misanthropic, he might have a skewed view, here; he might
hang on to some lofty, cerebral notion of “dishonor”
or “betrayal” as the nadir of human behavior.
• What has the character forgotten? In the World of Darkness, it’s next to impossible to grow up without any exposure to the supernatural. Decide what your character
saw and forgot. Did she see a vampire take the form
of mist and vanish? A man turn into a wolf? Maybe
she caught a glimpse of the God-Machine through
a door that should never have been propped open?
Describe this scene in as much detail as you can. This
is a breaking point that already occurred, but it helps
set a benchmark for what your character would have
to see in order to experience one now.
What is the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to the character?
While working as a escort, Anne once had a client who wanted to get rougher than she was okay with, and who didnt take 'no' for a answer. They struggled, she lost, he did what he wanted to her. Afterwards she had little recourse but to pick herself up, take a few days off work, hide the bruises as best she could, and go on with her life. Trying to complain would only get her 'laid off' from the escort agency, and the police would be worse. She consoles herself with the fact that he left a fat tip, but the night of abuse hit her harder than she is willing to admit to. She started carrying a knife, working out, and swore she wouldnt be a victim again.

Breaking point questions?

God Machine Chronicles completely redid Morality.

Yeah I am bowing out of this. I don't have the motivation to type out the answers to the questionnaire. Good luck to the rest of you.

I'm super busy and unfortunately people don't seem super motivated so likely we will not run at this time.

Then start planning a 2e Werewolf game.

I'd also be down for 2e Werewolf (or almost any classic WoD game), so i'll keep an eye open for that to go up.

Just for clarity's sake, I'm talking about the recently released second edition of Forsaken, not Apocalypse.

Ah, understood.

Well, back to keeping my eyes open for another classic WoD game.
