This photo was taken tonight, in front of the government building in Romania that's planning to turn the clock for my country back with three decades. After dismembering the penal code, it appears their next plan is to dismantle the judiciary structures and finally remove the president. The population is firmly against them, all our major international partners, including the United States, have taken a very clear and unambiguous stance against them, and yet they don't seem to care in the slightest.

It's just baffling to see how small some people are. The drivers and secretaries of an age past have climbed upon its ruins and now believe that this country is nothing more than their back yard. It took them one night to destroy everything we have worked for in the last decades. I feel that, however I look at things and no matter the outcome, we as a country have lost. As citizens, we have no choice now but to stand against them until whatever end.

Trump has been on the offensive for quite a while calling journalists and the media the same names they could legitimately call him.

He has lied, cheated and stolen for years, is a sexual predator who belongs on the sexual offender registry, is currently being sued by at least one contractor he is refusing to pay for work on his DC hotel and shows, daily, that he is at least borderline unstable.  Putting the media on the defensive is a business tactic that makes them scramble and causes their accusations to look like retaliation for his name-calling.

The media needs patience and a lot of indepth research followed by exposés on all of his wrong doing and that of his staff and cabinet.  Trump has laid out the battle field and the media is perfect capable of fighting his war if they'll give it a try.

People are so against the media after so many years of lies and "extending the truth" that literally any other source of information is seen as more trustworthy. And most people don't have the time or energy to do any sort of fact checking for themselves.

I read an article a few months ago about a young woman who came forward with a story about her affair with Trump.  She was offered a contract by a newspaper for whom she wrote the story.  The bought all rights to the story in perpetuity and then squelched it.  She is prohibited from disclosing the details to anyone.
