Yeah, that guy is toast. The only thing is I wish they had started a bit earlier but you can clearly see what he SAID happened and what happened aren't the same. No first aid rendered, dropping what looks like the taser by the poor man and the rest of his story being destroyed. I'd say pretty cut and dried. The locals immediately acted when the video came out and I'll bet that SLED, and the DoJ, will be looking into his past cases as well as the entire departments in excruciating detail.

One of the several articles I saw indicated that he had at least one prior 'excessive force' complaint on him.

I hope they throw that scum in the deepest hole they can find. Assholes like him give cops a bad name and make it harder for honest real officers to do their duty and protect the public.  >:(

Completely agreed with you. This only further separates law enforcement and communities which is needed to solve crimes and protect people.

This could be a potential thread for the stability in the North Caucasus region.

So apparently Puerto Ricans who cant speak English qualify for Disability from Social Security.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/puerto-ricans-who-can%e2%80%99t-speak-english-qualify-as-disabled-for-social-security/ar-AAaGLKG?ocid=HPCDHP

I lived in PR for several years (until I was like somewhere around 8 or 9) cause my dad and mom worked in Fort Buchanan so I kind of feel like I should say something on this, most of the Puerto Ricans I ever met knew at least some English. (even if It was at worst broken English) I don't feel this should be a way for one to get money from the government. There are plenty of really sick people, injured veterans and those with disabilities from birth that I feel are more deserving of that money since you can go attend classes and learn English while many other disabilities are for life.

But then again im not a real Puerto Rican so...I don't know. :-\

Spain has apparently passed some very restrictive laws in the form of the National Security Act.

So, since one of those laws prevents people from protesting in public spaces, Spanish citizens have held the first-ever holographic protest.

There was just a shooting in DC.

Man went in with a gun and supposedly shot himself in front of the capitol? (At least that's what CNN just said(

I think that doesn't make sense. He likely drew on the officers and then they shot him but info is sketchy and the FBI is checking a package he had with him.

The somewhat ironic thing is that Congress is currently on Spring Break.  If he was there to stage a suicide in protest or to commit a terrorist act with that unknown package, all the big-wigs were off on yet another vacation.

Spring Break: The time when Congress makes it known that they aren't doing any work.  :P

I was going to make a comparison between Congress's Spring Break and the typical college spring break - then I realized I didn't want that mental image.  :P

Yet another historical site has been destroyed by ISIS.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/is-video-shows-destruction-of-ancient-assyrian-city/ar-AAaSSSk?ocid=HPCDHP

As someone who loves and studies different aspects of history, I cannot stand it when historical sites are destroyed, especially due to extremist groups.

A 39-year old woman in Victorville, California was caught on tape hitting a crying 3-year old boy with her across the face with a tablet. She was caught on tape doing this and the incident is being investigated by authorities. Wonderful parenting, not. Somehow I doubt that made the situation any better.

It appears here in the U.S. of A., Hilary Clinton is announcing her running for the Presidency. I for one welcome our country's first possible Female Overlord. Not to mention I heard she's pretty darn good at politics, having been a prior Secretary of State and all.

Though I have a feeling the whole Republican party and it's supporters will do anything it takes to keep her from winning.
