Trump is now claiming that Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim is the man responsible for all of his failures, and believes he is leading the "conspiracy" against him and his presidential candidacy: http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/10/donald-trump-carlos-slim-new-york-times

Oh I can.  I will be glad when this election is over.  Can we get back to talking about growing the middle class and providing college opportunities for everyone...you know...stuff that can make this country really great.

+ a whole bunch.

I was watching GMA....I think it was day before yesterday....and they had Trump's campaign manager on there again.  I literally had to mute the TV while she was on.  I couldn't believe the excuses she was giving and the rationalizations she was trying to give in his defense.  I got so frustrated with her, I muted the sound because I just couldn't listen to it anymore.

His campaign continually brings up Bill Clinton and his alleged interactions with the ladies.  Last I knew.....Bill wasn't running for president....so I'm not sure what Trump is trying to accomplish with that argument.

They were just interviewing Ben Carson on CNN and they asked him about all of the sexual assault accusations that have been pouring in (7 as of now). Ben Carson dodged just as much as Trump does. He kept trying to talk about the "real issues" an election should be about and said that the women making the accusations should do so through the court system instead of on public television. When asked if the women Trump brought with him to the last debate should do the same in relation for Bill Clinton, he struggled to answer. XD

Meanwhile, back here, the PiS leader gave another interview on abortion. And he said that the recent women's protest was an attack on the Church - and that it was dangerous, as it attacked "one of foundations of our society". Meaning, if you happen to disagree with the Catholic dogma, you should shut up about it, as you would be harming the society otherwise...

What I've noticed is that the worse things get for Trump the less the news is reporting it.  It doesn't lead either.  This may change in the next few weeks but I'm enjoying the hiatus. :-)

Religion is too often used as a tool of patriarcal oppression, and once again the oppressor seek to shift the blame on the victims. They try to steal women's rights, but women are the ones attacking the church?

Though they don't quite go around shooting people, it's not the first time French cops are accused of various things and get away with it. It's not getting better with the state of emergency (they do suffer a lot, I understand their bitterness and avoid having to deal with them). I posted that awful story months ago and am still surprised it ended that way http://www.france24.com/en/20160720-elite-paris-police-cleared-gang-rape-case-brought-canadian-tourist

Calais is a real mess, locals, tourists, journalists get beaten up and sent to hospital regularly. It sucks on both sides.

Caveat: not all horrible stories are true though. Many people hate cops and want to give them a bad name. Same for French soldiers in Africa being accused of everything under the sun.

My father once said (and I think it can be made to apply to anything to do with them) Security Forces (Police, Soldiers etc.) Need to be right 100% of the time....while attackers or those that have ill will towards them, only need to be right once.

Did it even end?

Can barely skip rocks without hitting a Russian submarine in the baltic sea, meanwhile NATO is looking at us with puppy dog eyes and want to be let inside.

There was that perestroika and glasnost thing a while back.  Someone tearing down a wall and so-forth and so on.

(I'm actually kind of impressed that I spelled 'perestroika' right on the first go.)

The Trump brand is also sinking with his polls :P http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2016/10/trumps-d-c-hotel-shows-as-poll-sink-so-does-his-brand.html

Soon I suspect it will be as bankrupt as his campaign...

Nah, he'll just take up loans and suibscriptions for Trump TV. Having his own personal TV network to keep up steam, that seems just like the logical goal anyway.

Yeah, Anteros mentioned that story up above I think - unless there were two such plots busted in a short time period.
