So I sent this to the staff they'll decide whether to make it like an announcement or something or if not. To inform and warn people. But Tumblr is planning on purging all adult content that is visual. So hosted images, or if you put your own stuff on there, on Dec 17 you'll want it saved. Already they have stopped lots of tags and searches from working relating to sex. But this is a full on ban on it. Safe mode will also be going away.

Other than right click saving not really for tumblr. I know people are searching for some tumblr archiving tools so probably when good ones are found they'll get shared a lot. I only know of tools for archiving single web pages, and they don't allow the scripting to stay.

Uh, well. not really. The other ones that exist are mainly community specific. Like to anime, or to furries. Otherwise there's not much. You can post stuff on twitter but that's a very bad way to host things. And twitter does lots of crackdowns as is. There a reason this is going to effect sex workers and erotic artists a lot, cause they don't have good options. Especially if you are queer Tumblr was one of the only places with a community for that and some level of acceptance.

From Dec 17th onwards no adult stuff on tumblr. Kinda sucks as it was a good source for it but I also see their point of view.

Oh Piers has been doing that for a while. That's what a lot of these people thrive off of is saying and doing hateful things and then building a following of hateful people that love them for doing that, then time to capitalize on that audience and make money. Sometimes I wonder how many of them are even really Neo-Nazis and how many just want the money money of Neo-Nazis. As soon as many of them, like Milo, found out there were racists in Gaming despite previously saying Gaming makes people into mass shooters they suddenly hail Gamers who are racist and fighting "The Culture War" and oh btw my new loyal gamers send me money. One of these people was literally Jack Thompson, the guy famous for trying to sue and get games banned for being too violent and sexual.

Took me abit to understand where the mistake was, but once i got it it made alot of sense. She mistook the total sum over the course of several years for meaning "There is currently 21 Trillion lying around that no one is keeping track of".

Its the same as saying figuring out you lost $21 over the course of a week and telling it to someone, but they end up thinking you have $21 somewhere on you or in your home.

It’s not as much as you lost the $21, but that you lost the receipts that you spent it on.  The money was used, but the records of what it was specifically used for was not kept track of.  This article also talks about things going back almost 20 years, so it’s even close to covering what her proposal would cost for 10 years.

The article highlights that it is $21 trillion in accounting errors.  Those errors run in both the red and black.  So one item ran over budget, but they don't have the record of why. Then another item ran under budget but again they don't have the reasons why.  So it is potentially the errors come close to canceling each other out.  So using the $21 dollars in the house analogy again, you are balancing your checkbook and you find and you find out that something cost $10.50 more and something else cost $10.50 less but you are not sure which bills caused it specifically because of the automatic payments.
