Human Rights Watch have filed a submission with Argentinian prosecutors to have the Saudi crown prince arrested for alleged war crimes in Yemen and likely playing a key part in the murder of Mr. Khashoggi, and the judicial authorities are looking at the matter seriously (not throwing it aside). The crown prince is planning to go to Buenos Aires in a few days time for the G20 summit.

Yes and no. generally yes they do but in some cases they do not.

The reasons commonly given for why this immunity is not available as a defence to international crimes is straight forward: (1) that genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity are not acts of state. Criminal acts of the type in question are committed by human actors, not states; and (2) we cannot allow the jus cogens nature of international crimes, i.e. the fact that they are non-derogable norms, to be eroded by immunities.

No, I think diplomatic immunity is only fully given (for visiting heads of state, government ministers etc) when they're in their own country (or at their embassy, or at a place like the UN). But in practice, of course, it's very rare for a country's police force to try to arrest a state bigshot from another country for crimes committed in the home region of the arrested person and their country.

Yeah. On its own, it can't always be trusted, particularly in cases of high-profile or politically volatile stuff. But it also has high standards of citation, so if the article isn't flagged as [Needs Citations] and the citations in question look legit, it's a good place to mine for actual first-party sources.

Exactly. Whenever I post a Wikipedia article, I never do it with the intent that the article itself is my evidence. I post the article with the intent that the article in question will be a decent repository for information and sources on that information.

Google Scholar is another good source, but only if you are looking for scientific papers, and are willing to read even more unwieldy, boring stuff then what Wikipedia will provide.

But hell, even academic papers alone are not immune to humans. The Sokal affair and the much more recent 'Grievance Studies' affair show that.

Basically, nothing can be trusted and no statement can be 100% true 100% of the time... Except that statement, for some reason.

Looks like they finally arrested the white dove nazi. I'd heard of this guy before and seen him in Alt-Right rally videos I kind of assumed the guy who pushed releasing doves to fight anti-fascism was one of the less dangerous ones. I guess I was wrong. I remember when Emily Gorcenski was posting information about him while the police were trying to find ties and she found them just by checking his facebook and googling his name. Which that is pretty common usually anti-fascists have to give a lot of the info to the police so they can understand who these people are. Though neighbors had also been reporting that he would hang up Nazi flags and things around his windows so police should have at least known to some degree.

Well you know us transes are a danger to "real" women and "real" girls. That's why we get sexually assaulted in the bathroom so much is it's really our fault cause we scare everyone who hates us. And why Psychology Today published an article using completely fake data on how there is a trans contagion infecting youth around the world. And why Daily Wire is using the Federalist(A right wing rag) as a source for reporting on the story of a dad who claims his child is cis and that the mom forces the child to pretend to be transgender around her and that the doctors who say the child is a trans girl and diagnosed the child are part of a conspiracy, with many conservative groups now urging the mother have custody taken away. As Ben Shapiro gets to write articles about how trans women are really men and are just mentally ill people to hate.

Many of them try to appropriate stories and narratives made by people who generally hate them and who they try to persecute and erase. Technically any transphobe shouldn't be using any cell phones since a trans woman is responsible for some of the tech that goes into all of them.
