Hear my plea!

First of all, I'd just like to thank you for clicking on this thread and showing even a smidgen of interest in my ideas. I'm Darksyne (but you can call me Dark, I guess) and I'm looking for someone to sit down and take their time to listen to all the crazy ideas that are coming out of my brain. As of me typing this up, I'm still fairly new to online role-playing, so please, be gentle.

However, I should also mention that while I'm new to RPing over the internet, I've been writing as a hobby for a while now, so I'd like to think I'm at least decent at it. I will typically play as Male Human characters, but I can switch it up every now and then. It's just easier for me to play a guy rather than a girl, since I myself am a guy, but I can play a girl or possibly a hermaphrodite if I'm really interested in a certain idea or role

I'd also like to say that I don't care who you are behind your computer monitor, you can be a sentient pine tree with giant robot arms that works as a flight attendant for all I care. All I care about is whether or not you can write a character that I'm interested in - you can be a guy that plays as girls, a girl that plays as guys, or anything in between. Everyone is welcome to enter the depraved black-hole of perversion that is my mind!

So, please, make yourself comfortable and get ready to read some weird (or maybe not-so weird) stuff. :-)

What I'm looking for in a writing partner

But first, let me bore you with what I'd like to see in a potential role-playing partner! ;D

COMMUNICATION: The ability to communicate our thoughts and feelings is a rather crucial one, and I'd like for my potential RP partners to be able to express themselves using their words. By that I mean, if you have an idea or are uncomfortable with something, please let me know about it! Role-playing should be a fun experience for everyone involved, so if I do or say something that makes you feel iffy, or if you have an idea you're just dying to get out, don't stay silent. Don't just let me do whatever I want even if we're using my idea for a story, speak up and tell me if you want to change something and we can discuss it.

Also, please try and give me a heads up if you won't be able to post for an extended period of time. Life gets in the way sometimes, and I understand that not everyone can post as often as others can, but please don't leave me hanging for too long, or I'll assume you simply lost interest and the RP will be dropped. If you haven't sent me a PM or communicated to me in some way that you would like to put the RP on hold, I'll give you two weeks after your most recent post until I give up on the story.

If you do legitimately lose interest in our RP and would like to quit... That's okay. Please just let me know that you'd like to stop and that'll be it, no hard feelings. :-)

ATTITUDE: Don't be a jerk, plain and simple; if you treat me and my thoughts and ideas with respect, I'll so the same to you. Also, please don't feel our interactions need to be limited to the RP, I'm not saying we have to become super buddy-buddy or anything like that, but if we're partners, I think we should at least be able to hold somewhat of a pleasant conversation with one another. Being friendly towards one another simply makes our relationship as RP partners enjoyable, and the better we get along, the better we'll write for each other.

POST LENGTH AND DETAIL: I expect a minimum of two paragraphs (8-10 sentences) per-post, and I expect it to be at least adequately detailed and interesting - give me something to go off of. I understand that not every situation (e.g. a dialogue heavy scene) is suited to an essay of a response, but if you consistently post one-liners or lack-luster replies, I'll have to say goodbye. Depending on what mood I'm in, I can sometimes end up writing around 4-6 paragraphs, but please, don't feel obligated to post that same length if you really can't. I typically try to match my partners post length, but I occasionally get a bit carried away.

PASSABLE ENGLISH SKILLS: I understand that it's not everyone's first language, but please try to write in fluent English using proper grammar and spelling. Sometimes errors can get by, I get that, but I'd like to be able to understand what my partner is trying to say to me. At the very least, just try to make sense, please.

SOME FORM OF PLOT: Sometimes, we all like to indulge in a bit of senseless porn, but some of us (myself included) desire a bit more. A way to convey some form of a story, perhaps with some twists, turns and character development... A plot, if you will. Now, I am no prude, and I'm all for a healthy dose of smut throughout our story - amorous adventures are the best adventures, after all. However, I do desire that a story have some form of a plot and the characters to have personalities; I don't want a bunch of senseless sex scenes full of bland, unlikable characters. Smut can be a major focal point of the story, but it shouldn't be the only thing that drives us forward.

Okay, now that we're passed all the boring crap, let's get on to what you really came here for! Just for reference ideas with an asterisk (*) next to them are what I'm currently craving, so if they sound even remotely interesting to you, please let me know!


***Garden of the Lamia - Craving, big time

Setting:
A Medieval/Feudal High Fantasy world inhabited by Humans and a wide variety of monstrous, female creatures known collectively as "Mamono". (Based heavily off of the world's of the Monster Girl Encyclopedia and Monster Girl Quest)
Roles and pairings:
Male Human Exile (My character) x Lamia/Naga - A species of Mamono who have the upper body of a woman, and the lower body of a massive serpent (Your character)
Genre/Themes:
Romance, D/S play, Adventure
Background Information/Summary:
Exile - that was the punishment bestowed upon Isaac for his "criminal" actions. It was surprisingly light sentence, considering the fact that his home village, Pittfield, was notorious for extremely harsh punishments regarding those who "fraternized with monsters". However, he had gotten off the hook easily thanks to his father's status as the town's mayor. Still, nothing had been able to protect him from the angry shouts and pitchforks of the mob that had almost burnt his families home to the ground.

His being exiled wasn't even really a punishment or a scheme he had devised in order to keep himself safe - he had offered to be exiled in order to protect his family from the wrath of the townsfolk. Also, if he was being honest, he had always desired to leave Pittfield; the village reeked of ignorance and suffered from a severe case of "small town syndrome". Isaac was free, in a sense - but soon, he'd be much less free, and he'd learn just how dangerous traveling alone in the wilderness could be nowadays. A pair of serpent like eyes watched him from the thick patch of brush nearby, their owner intent on making this boy her mate.

You will play the role of this Mamono, a creature willing to do whatever it takes to secure herself a mate, even if it means taking one against his will. This story will mostly focus on romance and smut, however, I will gladly discuss deeper plot details if you happen to be interested.

*A Love That Cannot Not Be

Setting:
Up for discussion - Most likely a Medieval or Victorian Era like world inhabited by Elves and Humans. Elvenkind rules the four major kingdoms that dominate this world, Humanity is seen a lesser race, used primarily as physical laborers and servants.
Roles and Pairings:
Male Human servant/worker (My character) x Elven Princess/Prince (Your character)
Genre/Themes:
Romance, Drama
Background Information/Summary:
Elvenkind has always ruled this world - a world built for them by there Human workers. None truly know or understand why the Humans serve the Elves, the answer having long since been lost to history. Some hypothesize that it has always been this way, and that Humanity is destined to serve their Elven masters for eternity thanks to some long lost sin committed by the original Humans.

Regardless, Humanity serves, while the Elves flourish and prosper. The two kinds seldom interact, Humanity typically being forced into slums at the bases of the Elves massive castle towns. However, some Humans are permitted to enter the seemingly different world of their Elven master's. It is here, that a young Human worker would meet an Elven Princess, and begin a rather taboo affair - although, taboo seems like an understatement in this context.

You'll be playing as the Elven Princess/Noble that my character meets and falls in love with - this story will be mostly romanced based, and could have several helpings of smut along the way.
