What is XCOM?
From TvTropes: "In the year 2015, Earth comes under attack by alien forces. In response, the Council of Nations activates the XCOM project, a Multinational Team tasked with fighting the alien invaders and researching their technology to protect humanity. The player takes the role of the Commander of XCOM, and with the help of various NPC advisers, guides XCOM to victory (or defeat) by managing the whole organization, including base building, research, manufacturing and sending fighters to intercept UFOs. The main focus of the game, however, is on the ground combat, where the player takes control of a small squad of soldiers and fights turn-based battles against the aliens.

In combat, the player commands up to four soldiers (later upgradeable to a maximum of six). Soldiers also earn XP for kills and rank up, specializing with their first rank into one of four different classes (Assault, Support, Heavy, and Sniper), each with unique weapons, equipment, and abilities. Each soldier gets two actions per turn, though using any action other than 'move' normally ends that unit's turn. Every soldier is equipped with one primary weapon, one pistol (Heavies get a Rocket Launcher instead), and an additional piece of equipment that the player decides (such as a grenade or medikit).

Outside of combat, the player manages the XCOM base. A delicate balancing act is required, with the player having to choose what upgrade projects to research, what new weapons/items to build, what new XCOM facilities to build (such as Workshops to reduce building costs or Satellite Uplinks to increase your coverage of the world map) and what alien threats to go after, all the while managing limited resources and attempting to keep world panic down. The player must monitor the panic in various countries; if they get too high, the country might drop-out of the XCOM project and withdraw their funding (and if too many drop-out, it's an automatic Game Over)."

How about a short version?
Aliens have invaded Earth and you are part of a multi-national group fighting back against the extra-terrestrial threat. Blast space creatures, research their tech and use it for your own, and defend the planet against invasion.

So what is this game?
Operation Valkyrie is about an XCOM base that has only female staff members (futanari, shemales, dickgirls, however you want to describe them - all allowed as well). This is basically an interest check for a lighthearted game with an equal mix of shameless smut and alien blasting. The story won't be too serious and we won't be pressured to move things along, this is aiming to be a game that moves along mostly at it's own pace. I'd like it to have an equal mix of time at the XCOM base and time where the ladies go on missions, blasting away aliens and causing rampant property destruction. I'll take as many girls as we can get, but ideally, we'll need at least four to begin. Hopefully, there will be some takers!

Name: Lieutenant Alex Capua
Age: 24
Sex: Female
Nationality: American (Los Angeles, CA)
Class: Sniper

Bio: A rare non-military recruit to XCOM, Alex nevertheless has extensive shooting experience. A bit of an odd bird, she's always been fond of firearms and shooting since she was a child. She enjoyed watching her favorite action heroes in cheesy 80's flicks, gunning down nameless enemies, using guns with seemingly bottomless magazines. With a love of firearms, Alex has been wielding guns since she was strong enough to pick one up. With so much practice under her belt she quickly became a renowned sharpshooter and won numerous competitions across the country, even mastering difficult trick shots. While lacking the discipline for the real military, XCOM was happy to use her for her unerring accuracy. Alex lets the squad take the front lines while she hangs back and covers their asses with her rifle.

An all around fun-loving  and easy-going girl, Alex can be a bit too relaxed and lackadaisical for some, but she tends to make friends and allies rather quickly. She has an easy smile and is always ready to crack out a silly joke or a lame pun. She doesn't seem to take much seriously and the only time she's serious about anything is when she's shooting. Alex knows she's one of the best shots out there and it's made her a bit cocky in that regard.

It may be useful to note that I never actually played the game.  It seems straightforward enough, though.

MissFire, do you exist in my headspace? Because I was watching the Northernlion playthrough all throughout it's run so far, know that your playby is a picture by (and of) Howler, and... Well, I have no other reasons at this moment, but I'm sure there are others!

In any case, I'll be working on a character. XD

Never been much for watching other folks play games.  I do like snipers, but since we've already got one, I can consider something else.

The wiki mentions psionics.  Are those up for grabs, and how deeply would I have to adhere to the game's version?

Alt Pic

Name: Riko "Rampage" Nanasa

Age: 21

Sex: Female (Futa)

Nationality: Japanese (Osaka)

Class: Assault

Personality: Riko is generally calm and docile, as opposed to what many may think of red-heads. She can be known to be very passive and impartial to many things that don't relate to firearms. She also has an incredibly dirty mind and an overwhelming sex drive that not many people know about due to her quiet nature. She has an unnatural fixation for guns; especially shotguns, and uses them to simulate masturbation whenever she feels overwhelmed by sexual desires. There is not much that can cause this girl to go into a hysterical fit of rage aside from an extended period of time without sexual (or simulated) release. Once in a frenzied state, whoever or whatever managed to set her off will soon cease to exist.

Bio: Since she was young Riko took a liking to firearms. Mostly for fun, she grew a strong attachment for them after witnessing how much of a powerful bully-repellant they are. It was all fun and games until one late fall afternoon when one of her bullies decided to pull a gun of their own. It was then that Riko realized that if she was going to talk-the-talk, she needed to walk-the-walk.

That bully was never seen again.

After that afternoon, Riko convinced her father to take her to the shooting range. She was given a pistol because of her small frame and stature, but once she heard the thunder of a shotgun, her life was never the same. It took her some time to get used to the kickback, but once her body was accustomed to the recoil, the world was never the same.

In High School, Riko joined the Rifling Club. Even though they wouldn't allow the use of shotguns, it was something. Shooting, you see, seemed to be the only way for her to relieve the pent up sexual tension that naturally built up within the girl. Pumping off shells seemed to be the only effective act of masturbation she could find. She gained the nickname "Rampage" after she was kicked off the rifling team for being a show-off. Honestly, the captain was just jealous of how skilled she was as a freshman. After an entire week of not being able to fire off a gun, Riko suddenly snapped when someone threw a negative comment at her small stature.

That person now has no lips.

XCom took an interest in the girl when she turned 18. While attending University, she joined another club centered around Firearms and, during her Senior year at a competition, broke several records despite other's expectations. XCom's deciding factor to recruit her was when the invasions actually started. With nothing more than her prized Spaz-12, Riko was able to defend herself against a wave of Sectoids with ease.

I'd prefer sticking pretty close to the game's version, so if you want to play one, check out the wiki. It's not too complex.

Name: Lieutenant Samantha Rand
Age: 24
Sex: Futa
Nationality: American (New York City, NY, USA)
Class: Assault

Bio:  Agile.  Hostile.  Mobile.  Versatile.  Sam is one of the few females to survive and thrive through military special ops training.  Like other assault specialists, she prefers a run & gun style of fighting, but also uses her aggression to take more lethal shots when more opponents are in her face, her lightning reflexes to dodge bullets while charging the enemy, and her ability to flush opponents out from cover so their sniper, Alex, and shotgunner, Rampage, can blow their heads off.

In high school, she was a track and volleyball star.  After attending the US Naval Academy in Annapolis with the intent of going into medicine, she found a calling in infantry exercises, starting with unarmed combat all the way to assault rifles.

An experienced veteran whose seen action in numerous missions, Sam joined XCOM as a rookie and quickly rose up the ranks.  Despite constantly being on the front-lines and regularly being the first to kick in a door, she always managed to pull off victory.  Every time the smoke cleared, Sam was surrounded by bodies, with a captured alien to interrogate and some new tech to replicate.

Sam is aggressive, assertive and domineering.  She takes charge even if she doesn't have authority, and tends to follow her instincts instead of orders.  While she often feels invulnerable, she feels like her days are numbered, making every after-action victory celebration with Alex and Rampage all the more meaningful.

Its freaking Samas!

I am a very happy camper right now  8-)

Yep, Samus Aran.

It would be cool to get a bunch of canon video game heroines together.

Like the Starcraft Ghost.

I was literally thinking the same thing.

I don't know if there are any that would fit the roll of a Heavy; not that I could think of.

Though I think the medic from StarCraft would be a very "favorable" support class concept lol
