So you guys help me choose... female white court vamp or male mortal (possibly minor talent) hunter?

Offline Crash

Andy - Sounds good to me.

We have a couple of mortals.  I say go white court vamp.

We can use more males, and the white court vamp can get into the aforementioned NC issue.  Could well be fun, though...

I vote male, adds a bit to gender balancing.

Being Sephora's minion I'll defer to her judgement. :)

Jonas doesn't mind. ;)

Ok.  Scouts honor, I will have finished a write up on magic today, as well as creating an approved character thread.

Offline Zeth

I never played Dresden Files before, but have the book and I am interested in playing. I have a few rough concepts but nothing fully fleshed out like you guys have. Still have room?

Offline SephoraTopic starter

Are you a quality writer? We have all the room in the world for quality writers.  ^_~

You can do it. o7

Offline Crash

I am going to try and get my background finished on my lunch hour.  Hopefully I can get writing prompts finished tonight and submit Jonas.

I keep my promises.

You will all be getting approval notices soon, so long as your character is complete.

Edit:  Side note, could everyone hide their writing prompts?  The scrolling is just going to be painful otherwise.  XP

I was thinking about mentioning Charity in some way in the Biography. Would that be alright?

Offline AndyZ

Sure ^_^

Yeesssssss Character connections!  Gold stars for Swan and AndyZ!!  ^_^

Please not that I've begun to add, 'who they know' to the bottom of my character profile.

Offline AndyZ

Aren't we supposed to know everyone?

Offline SephoraTopic starter

Basically.  But it's important to have a background as to how they know them, and what their relationship looks like.

Offline Crash

I am going to have Jonas having retrieved his fathers sword from the Troll that ambushed and killed him.  It would probably be a job that Jonas would not be able to do alone.  Anyone want to have helped him as part of his background?

Offline AndyZ

Has the troll done anything like attacking mortals which would necessitate it being destroyed?  Charity would help, but I don't think she would try to destroy it unless it was causing enough problems to need to be put down.

Offline SephoraTopic starter

And Crash get's a gold star.

Amelia is a physically weak changeling illusionist who refuses to seriously use any seelie magic.  She'd be no help on a quest like that.  She could have called in a favor to find the location of the troll for him though.  -shrugs-

Offline Mister Grimm

Crash: Jacob could have helped, though if I recall correctly, Trolls were nasty pieces of work that took a lot to take down. Could have been paid to help, or made an Oath that requires that one day your character might have to help him with something.

AndyZ: In the short story Restoration of Faith, Harry encountered one that wanted to eat the girl he was escorted as toll to cross the bridge. So its likely.

A group game I would actually like to play in :D I find more and more of them in E, it seems.

The question I have simply lies in this question - Can I play someone who owns a shop to give materials to magic users who need it (say a new age shop with a 'back room'). Said individual would come from a family who has been hiding from the White Council for a very very long time - because their magic is more tied to nature itself (and they randomly get a Node user every so often) the family got in big trouble some major time back (we are talking way back in time). The Council believed they had wiped out the family (but when has the Council ever truly finished what it started?) and went on their merry way.

Where's that at?  I'm currently on Book 12.

Offline Mister Grimm

Where's that at?  I'm currently on Book 12.

It was a short story that was originally published on Butchers website, and later included in the anthology Side Jobs.

Offline AndyZ

I'll have to look into that when I'm done with 12.
