Ashcroft Fields

"Education and riding are central to a well-rounded girl." - Headmistress Croft

The History

AshcroftFields began as a modest Western discipline equestrian arena that showcased fresh talent and beautiful horses. Through quality and endurance, Ladies Ashworth and Croft were able to upsize and upscale, and eventually grow the large estate Ashcroft is today. Through steadfast support from the patron's of the arena and later, the academy, Ashcroft has become one of the leading premier equestrian boarding schools in the country.

The Mission

At Ashcroft, we aim to educate each girl in the many disciplines she will need to succeed. These include the basic studies, such as mathematics, English and reading, the sciences, and the arts. Where Ashcroft differs from other institutions lies in how far we go outside of the normal learning setting. Ashcroft partakes in an inclusive education of finishing, to help each student find her talents and pursue them, and also become talented and empowered as a young woman. College credits can be garnished at Ashcroft, and we also over some upper-level courses in certain studies. Because riding is a part of everyday life on the estate, the girls will always have the chance to learn from the horses they are with and around.

The Amenities

Ashcroft offers a wide array of amenities, included with your tuition. Firstly, all meals - including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks - are included and available at Binsley Mess Hall at the according hours as found in the student handbook. If students need food or drink outside of these hours, vending machines are located in every building, as well as in visible areas around the various dorms. Each dorm is furnished and includes ample space for storage. One pet per student may be kept during your stay at Ashcroft. Dogs are provided gated areas with shelter. Other pets must be kept in their appropriate enclosures when not supervised. Cats are welcome in the dorms. There are two stables with outdoor riding arenas located near each respectively. Ashworth Stables focuses on the English equestrian discipline, while Croft Stables is dedicated to Western discipline and free form training. Ashcroft is also equipped with an expansive indoor riding arena that is mainly used for shows, but is also available during early morning hours. The stables provide ample room for your own horse, but horses are also provided for students lacking horses or students hoping to expand their repertoire.

Please continue for images of our expansive estate.
