Jessica Mckenzie "Mac" LanceAge:
Dinah Lance/UnknownPowers/Abilities/Skills:Martial Arts:
There are only a few better than her in the entire world. She learned from not only her mom, but Batman, Batgirl, Wonder Woman and many members of the Justice League how to protect herself and how to bring the fight to the opponent. Canary Cry:
This comes straight from her mom. It's a scream powerful enough to lift an eighteen wheeler and knock it on it's side. To mow down doors and punch holes into brick walls. It's a scream that if used on a person within twenty feet or so that would instantly kill them. It's why her mom didn't use it much, and why she doesn't use it much...save for really heavy hitters, and even then she's hesitant.Siryn's Song:
Siryn can shift her voice in such a way that it acts almost like a truth serum or Wonder Woman's lasso...forcing someone (especially the weak willed) to give up the truth when she asks it in just
the right way. Memories are, however, not always 100% accurate, which leaves her using some gumshoe skills to help piece puzzles together.Chirp:
The chirp is a weak version of the scream, it can vary from the weight of a boxer's punch to a small car being flung in power. Technically she can even use it to simply punch through a lock on a door, but lock picking tends to be much quieter than that and therefore more preferable.Voice Changer:
One of the minor advantages to having such an incredible voice box is that she's able to change her voice and mimic other voices perfectly. The way she sounds in her civvies versus the way she sounds while in costume is different, but it's simply a different voice, not like a normal person (Bruce!) trying to make his voice deeper and scarier. Breath of Fresh Air:
Due to her abilities, Mac's body is able to process oxygen far beyond what other people can do. With each breath she takes in her body can use about 300% of the oxygen that a normal person could use. On a deep breath she can use more, this allows her body to prepare for a scream much faster and far more easily...which means she's not out of breath at the end of a huge scream, not unless it lasts for a very long time compared to normal. (Normal being under ten seconds, long time being up to two minutes straight). She can also hold her breath for longer and it extends her stamina by not allowing her muscles to tire as easily.Hard Headed:
Another way to combat the extreme stresses put on her body by the Canary Cry, her body has an extremely hard skull, facial muscles (to help "shape" the screams), and skin. Although not fun, she can take a fifty caliber round between the eyes and survive. She'll be knocked out, there will be a huge bruise, and she'll wake up with the mother of all migraines, but she could survive it. And while she can take such punishment, that doesn't mean a well placed fist, billy club, black jack, or 2x4 to the back of her skull won't still knock her out cold. It just may hurt the other person, or someone punching her may actually break a fist on her face.Lock Picking:
She's picked up a lot more than that from Batman and her mom, but lock picking is utilized quite often when investigating the scum of the Earth. She often breaks into homes silently and snoops around then waits for the badguys to arrive. She's also excellent at cracking safes. Of course, that doesn't mean she hasn't fallen for a few traps of rigged locks and safes as she's knelt to unlock them...and gotten gassed in the face or tasered upon entry...Visual Appearance:
Mac is a six foot tall power house of a woman with the curves to match. She cuts an impressive 38D-36-38 figure, her stomach flat but toned, arms not ripped, but well muscled all the same. She looks as if she could be as much Diana's daughter as she is Dinah's. She has a big butt, long corded legs, broad shoulders, and generally like she could compete in the Olympics at any given point. She has long, wavy, dark brown hair with a few highlights of light brown streaking through it naturally. Her sea-green eyes sparkle with an intense fire that seems to match with the rest of her body. She swam for a scholarship through college...which doubled as her reason for staying so physically fit.
Mac's costume both pays homage to her mother's costume and has some flares of it's own. She wears a one-piece silver swimsuit with a leather jacket to cover her arms, and leather, fingerless gloves on her hands. She even wears silver fishnets. However the jacket is black, and the fishnets are typically hidden by a pair of tight jeans. Whether her hair is up or down or if she's wearing the jacket all depends on the weather that particular evening. Though in the warmer months she tends to have her long hair up in a ponytail to keep it off of her neck and back, with no jacket, while during the cooler months her hair is worn down. Unlike her mother, she wears a sleek, but identity concealing, black domino mask over her soft features. Finally she wears knee-high, gothic-styled boots over her feet and lower legs to aid in the weight of her kicks. Her "official" costume is the silver swimsuit and fishnets, but the most common one is wearing her jeans with the jacket.Personality:
Mac goes at whatever she sets her mind to 200%, just when she thinks she's had enough, she picks herself back up and forces herself to keep going. She gets a lot of her stubborn/strong will from her mother, probably both in genetics and in the way she was raised. She takes major decisions seriously and may take several weeks just to weight all the pros and cons. When becoming a superheroine it took her a solid six months to full decide if she wanted to do it. She knew how much time it'd take to train and get ready, to figure out a costume, and even to take it one night at a time while also seeing the big picture. However some smaller decisions sometimes she makes a little quickly which can (and has) landed her in over her head. She's ever curious, always wanting to know more and get to know a case better and better. She tends to take care and sympathize with victims which has always helped keep her in check. Her thoughts are that you can't be a hero if you don't care about the people you're saving... Most people would define her as grounded, she's not often bubbly, though she does have her rather...girlish moments from time to time.History:
Mac grew up in a single-parent household and never knew her father. She's tried to find out on multiple occasions just who her mystery father is, but she never seems to get anywhere with it. Ultimately, in her late teens, she decided it didn't matter. If he wasn't in the picture that's probably because he's a jerk-face and didn't want
to be in the picture. It's a revelation that came along shortly after gaining a younger sister.
Growing up as Dinah's daughter wasn't easy. The woman is strict, but the boundaries were and still are good for Mac, no hand was ever brought to bare on her as punishment (there were plenty of spars), and Dinah always was her mother first, friend second, and sensei third. She had a childhood that few would likely envy, but also one that she wouldn't trade for anything. She got to know Wonder Woman at a young age, met Superman and Supergirl. All of the greats at some point or another. And spent no small amount of time drooling over some of their younger pictures when she hit her teens. She had so many aunts and uncles it became hard to keep track of. Her favorite ones were Aunt Helena and Aunt Diana, both teaching her different forms of combat and giving her insight into how they grew up and came upon their views on the world.
She stopped growing around sixteen, leaving her at six feet tall and with zero curves. By eighteen they'd started to come in, and by twenty she had a full figure of an Amazon. Honestly, though, she always has thought her figure more resembles her mother, if her mother were as tall as she is. Sometimes it makes her wonder if her bio-dad (since he's not really a dad
in any sense) had been tall and ruggedly handsome, but her mom is tight lipped about that.
Seventeen is when she became a superheroine, just doing very simple patrols as she got used to fighting someone for real. It's a lot different than a spar, and she had to cut her teeth on real gang bangers that wanted little more than to cut her into a million pieces for involving herself with them. By eighteen she was doing it all on her own (her mom having supervised before) and was shortly off to college to fill out and grow up really fast. She's been on her own since then, in terms of being a superheroine, racked up quite an impressive number of arrests and captures even compared to some of the greats in their early career.
She's not perfect, no hero is, she...like her mom, is mostly feared on the street but checked out in person. She's been konked over the head more times than she can count, chloroformed, punched and kicked between the legs. She's been darted, and hypnotized, and thrown off a building. She's been groped and fondled, tied up and beaten down, but the percentage of times that happens versus how many times she comes out on top is...a low percentage. She's never been terribly great at math, but she knows compared to how much she hauls in the badguys, the times that they haul her off is slim. Plus she always always
escapes. Sexual Ons:

Patrolling, kicking ass, oral: giving and receiving, anal: receiving, light bondage, light rough housing, role playing, vibrators, spanking, fondling, cuddling. Getting unmasked, being whipped, gags, blind folds, chloroform, roofies/drugs in general, being taped, being blackmailed, hard rape: their pleasure is priority, they just use her body to do it....the list goes on.
