Scandalous

You’re young, you’re sexy and you’re successful. Your face is in the newspapers, in magazines, on the internet and maybe even on billboards. You’ve got money and you’ve got the eyes of the world watching you. Most love you but others are waiting for you to screw up. Kids follow the fashion trends you hadn’t even realized that you had started. You are always invited to the hottest parties and there simply isn’t a VIP lounge that you aren’t allowed in. All this and you’re not even out of your twenties.

It’s not all fun and games when you’re rich and famous. Life behind closed doors is completely different compared to life in front of the paparazzi cameras. Sex, drugs, addiction, violence, crime and everything in between plague your life. However in this modern world of social networking, gossip sites and blogs, the world you live in and the world you hide in your home, will almost certainly find themselves on a collision course.

So the basic plot is that you play a character that is young, rich and seems to have the world at their feet. Of course not everything is as it seems and we focus on the trials and tribulations that go on within their scandalous lives. The setting will be Manhattan. However you can venture out of the city, after all with the amount of money you have, you can go anywhere. The story isn’t a story at all really, it’s character driven and character centric. It’s more about how our characters react to the situations they find themselves in and their relationships with one another.

No need to drop a CS, just let me know your intended sex to play and your characters sexual orientation. :)

Legman - Nice to meet you, love. If it gets up and running then we'll get an OOC up in the next few days and see if we can cause some trouble in the big city. I play a straight female and whatever else we might need.

What would you say in response to a character that isn't one of the 'elite?' For example: drug dealer? Club owner?

If you'd rather focus on the 'elite' first, that makes sense.

Regardless of what 'role' I play, it'll probably be as a gay dude.

Let's just do one. I'm just giving anyone the option to get up to 3 max... eventually.
