Ehh, that's another problem I have with my character... I'm not entirely sure how she would have access to so much technology/supplies. I thought she would just use the old equipment she had in Texas that was shipped over to New Keph City when she moved, and all the other parts she gets for her robots and computers she gets from RadioShack or something. I feel even this is kinda a stretch though.

Maybe I should edit her bio a little bit to give her more connections that supply her with the stuff she needs. But she doesn't dabble in stuff like guns and other potentially illegal stuff, so I'm not sure why she would need a contact in the first place. And it's not like she has any money...
You can do quite a bit with off-the-shelf components from a store like Radio Shack. Best Buy, a few other electronics stores. Hell, maybe she even picks up stuff from junkyards.

You could say she's really good with improvising?

As far as money goes, maybe she has some business on the side generating revenue. If she's good with tech, maybe she does coding work? Maybe she works in the tech industry, which would also give her the option of helping herself to some goodies on the sly. Maybe she just pulls off hacks on ATM's to make 'em spew money?

Just some food for thought.

Maybe Deedee hacks Hanzo Corp's accounts to steal money from them? Not only to fund her own stuff, but also because the y are doing evil things, so taking money from them might prevent some bad events from occurring.

Tonight!!!!!   ;D   We dine in Hell! Actually Hell was booked so we had to make reservations in Purgatory...  Anyways, tonight I'll have the first post of the RP up.

Also, I'm thinking of adding a new group to the Roster.
Neutral
Since the RP really isn't all that black and white, it'd just make sense.

Technically having four groups we'd get
Heroes: The main group of masked vigilantes who work together, mostly against Hanzo, but they also perform other missions and duties. These are the characters who are actually part of the team on a regular basis. They've likely swore an oath or made a promise to work together for the good of the city.
Villains: Characters on Hanzo's payroll or just out to destroy the Heroes for any reason.
Neutral: Characters who are out for their own agendas, might be good or they might be bad. They might fight against the hero team on some missions or they might help them in others. They have no particular loyalty to Hanzo OR the Heroes.
Civilians: Secondary characters, don't fight but might provide useful information or items to the heroes. Also useful as possible romantic interests for the heroes or someone for our heroes to save.

If you prefer to be in Neutral as opposed to Hero or Villain, let me know so I can update the roster.

BTW, you can change alliance at ANY time, good guys can go bad, and villains can have a change of heart (thus sparing them a grisly death at the end of the RP)

I think my character may have a "change of heart".

You could say she's really good with improvising?

Well, I did say she was a creative person in her profile xD

Maybe she just pulls off hacks on ATM's to make 'em spew money?

Maybe Deedee hacks Hanzo Corp's accounts to steal money from them? Not only to fund her own stuff, but also because the y are doing evil things, so taking money from them might prevent some bad events from occurring.

I was actually thinking of similar ideas as these. I'm just afraid of her getting caught easily doing these things (which is pretty much the source for all my concerns at this point).

Maybe I'm taking the "realistic" part of this RP too seriously. Maybe I should just lighten up. I just didn't want to make my character have too much power or anything.

I think it's good to consider limitations on characters. I just think you might have gone a little too far, to be honest.  :-)

I mistakenly thought you were talking about my leaving for a few hours.... then I realized that was part of the Hanzo comment  X-D

--------------
Alright, I'm working on the finishing touches of the first post.

Any more questions, comments, concerns or complaints before we officially hit this thing off?

--------------

Maybe Deedee hacks Hanzo Corp's accounts to steal money from them? Not only to fund her own stuff, but also because the y are doing evil things, so taking money from them might prevent some bad events from occurring.

Hanzo would be a tough nut to crack, though. But some of his fringe gangs would be easy pickings.
I'm not sure about early on in the RP, but later in the RP, that's kind of what being a team is for. Someone  else might have the money, or maybe she needs help obtaining the equipment so she teams up with another Hero to have it stolen from the bad guys or something.  I was kind of encouraging secondary characters for this sake. Secondary characters would have minimal parts in the plot but would provide important things like connections and hook up such as equipment, weapons, and supplies.

It could all come from an outlet store in Romania.....

So the OOC thread is up now.

http://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=183757.0

Disregard the first question until I've actually posted the RP thread. I put it in Extreme because of a few scenes that are pretty bad involving a villain doing some horrific stuff.  Rated N for Nihilus.

Though for the most part the sex will be tame and not all too frequent. (This is a violent action RP, not a porno)

Nihilus is truly the twisted one.

Most of Hanzo's killings are just killings. Nihilus takes particular glee in his doings.

That and the fact that Forte ends up hunting a man who kills teen girls after raping them, of course I wont be including the brutal details of the events (not allowed), only the aftermath.

The twisted ones can always be the misunderstood, like wolves and snakes.

As he should if he kills for fun then i assume he takes pride and pleasure in what he does.
Hanzo sounds like he picks his "victims" or unfortunates who rub him the wrong way, would be intresting if he knew some of the villains as their out of costume selves.

of course, the aftermath of a hole in a once whole family the life of the girl now dead etc...

Unfortunately I found out that MzHyde is leaving us.

So this leaves us needing at least 1 more female hero.   :'(

She had prior engagements that got her too busy.  (Aside from any new members posting character profiles, we're in the OOC thread now.)
