Alright RavenBlackmoon, so after discussing we've raised a few issues.

1. The Nagabred are not servants. All Nagabred are slaves. If a Nagabred child is born between the coupling of a Nagabred and Naga-slayer, the child would be a slave. This is because the Nagabred are very powerful and we have decided to greatly handicap them which is also why this race is not one that is actually listed as a house. We cannot have too many Nagabred so we should be careful in selecting who will play them.

2. Flesh out your character a bit more. We ask this because we don't have much on what kind of characters you play, your writing style, and neither of us have previously written with you.

3. Neither of us like the image, we ask you find another and we will be happy to assist you find one.

Thank you!

ElvenKitten - The Nwydn are actually not a human race. They're the offspring of mated Flora and Fauna - Flora, mythical creatures of the Earth - like nymphs and Fauna, mythical creatures that are neither beast nor man but inbetween.

made some major changes, misunderstood the background thingy.

Here is my character idea hopefully he is allowed :)

Tristyn Wintershold

Name: Trisyn Wintershold
Played By: Chreestafer
Age: Looks and is 21
Sex: Male.
Orientation: bi curious (has thoughts but only in groups)
Role: 2nd Prince, second heir of Wintershold
Distinguishing Traits: tribal like tattoos, burn scars covering his chest and sides, blonde hair
Likes: Woods, quiet, wolves, archery
Dislikes: mouthy people, dishonesty, fire
About: When Tristyn was born the kingdom was in a slight uproar.  A Blonde child came from a family of dark haired warriors which made some speculate he was adopted.   However Tristyn has stricking resemblance to his mother charming features.  Ever since he could walk he was always drawn to the woods, feeling more relaxed and at ease within the tree lines.  One night while he was seven, sadly, the young man was in the woods honing his archery skills when he was attacked by theives.  Fighting back only ended with his body, being pressed and pinned by a dead older and heavy man, in his camp fire scaring and destroying the flesh of his chest.  Since that day he has held a fear of fire.  Years after the skin healed he recieved tattoos to cover the marks feeling himself disgusting.  On his seventeenth birthday he put his woodsman skills to work and would sell his skill set in tracking deer or boar for fellow dukes.  Once or twice he even tracked down escaped prisoners.  On one of these missions he found a small wolf pup, the runt of the pack, left to die.  He took the pup in and raised her naming her Runt, which was suiting for her.  Now at 21 the two are inseparable,  they lend their skills to his brother and parents knowing tensions are high in the world.
Habits: when fire is around he finds himself itching the burn scars on his chest.  He appears and disappears without signal whoch often annoys others.
Skills: Tristyn is amazingly accurate and extremely cunning with a bow, taking the title as the silent arrow from friends and family.  Great woodsman, hunter, and tracker (a true class title would be ranger) stealth is another attribute of his.

"Runt" the female wolf

The skeletons have been put up in the thread. We still need more members for houses - particularly leaders but others are needed as well.

By the by, with my character, being a mercenary, he is definitely for sale. If any House would like to contract him for any reason,  feel free to discuss it with me.  :-)

So THM Again we have the honor to rp together! Second is your character an all around fighter or does he specialize in anything like a master archer.  My character is more so a master archer, so if you'd like w can have "friendly" rivalry / competition.

Yes, we do, Chrees. How've you been?

More of a generalist than a specialist,  but he's fairly good at both; wouldn't say "master", but definitely has a high degree of skill.  I don't actually see him being the competitive sort, though.

Okay. If any of you feel somebody might take interest in this game, then if you're comfortable with it you can ask them to take a look. Just make sure they don't feel pressured to join! I don't want to pressure anybody into joining!

Did one of the players invite you Drake? If so, then don't feel pressured to join. As I said, I'd rather players join who are legitimately interested rather than players that aren't, I find the quality of the game is much better that way.

No, I stumbled upon it.

Although with all the spacing in houses for character slots and current characters within, noted positions, it makes me wonder how the flow of the game would go.

As any other game, I'd expect. It'd probably have a swell of posts at the beginning then calm to a steady pace. As for character interaction, characters would most likely separate into smaller groups and interchange as they see fit. I wouldn't expect every character to interact with all the others all at once. They'd be in different regions, different times. I don't expect nor want every slot to be filled - I just gave more option than most in what one's character could be instead of limiting to King, Queen, prince, princess and the likes. I'd like certain roles to be filled, but the game can fare without them. It's an open game, there isn't a predetermined plot so no one character is really essential to the game.

*Nod, nod.* True that. I wouldn't take it you had a map outline of general world base or something of that nature? Or we are mostly winging possible locations, considering everything is mainland except for Naga?

Also, Naga is what confuses me at moment. Unless I missed a part about it.

I hear Nagabred and Naga Slayers.

Naga Slayers are the ones who are the royalty and whatnot and the nagabred are the slaves, I take it? I would assume Naga Slayers are general humans and the bred are the ones who are descendants of that race?

Perhaps it starts with a peace summit or something?

No, I don't. I could make one, though. And yes, everything is mainland. Iredale backs up against the sea. Nwydn are in the thick of a forest near Iredale, so close by the sea as well. Wintershold are further inland but close to a forest themselves. If the forest is big enough, then it could be the same that the Nwydn live in but the general idea, is that Iredale and Wintershold are a good span apart. The Sheikah would probably be closest to Iredale than any other kingdom/house but pretty far away from them as well as the other Kingdoms - but since they are nomadic they could go where they please but I assume they would have preference to the desert. The Naga are across the sea.

Nagabred are descendents of Naga - they look like horned humans and some have scales or other distinguishing features, i.e. eye color, strange tongue, sharp nails, etc. The Naga-slayers are pretty much a human race which boast their title from having killed hundreds of thousands of Naga and Nagabred- pretty much genocide. So, the Naga-slayers claimed royalty through murder. The remaining Nagabred are slaves. Also, the Naga-slayers are pretty superstitious- to end an entire family name is considered bad luck, which is the reason for the few remaining Nagabred keeping their lives, they're the last of their family name.

The game would most likely start at the end of a meeting between the Wintershold, Iredale, Nywdn and Sheikah houses who had been aware of the Naga-slayers desire to conquer their land. We would start at the end of the meeting so that the houses could receive the Naga-slayers. So a peace summit would be close, very close to what it would be. However, tensions are probably already high due to the Iredale's and Wintershold's tumultuous relationship. I think the Nywdn would push for peace and Iredale would want to determine their position after receiving the Naga-slayers. Wintershold would distrust and Sheikah would probably be curious but cautious. The Naga-slayers I think would assume that Iredale would be prepped to defend themselves, but would not expect for the other houses to be there in unison- as it's a known fact that their land is split starkly between Iredale and Wintershold and the other two clans aren't much for getting into the politics between them.

Name:
Lyall Wintershold
Played By:
Drake Valentine
Age:
Male
Sex:
Sixteen
Orientation:
Heterosexual
Role:
Known as the ‘Wild Prince.’
Distinguishing Traits:
Family crest tattooed along his lower back. A few lingering scars from the past.
Likes:
Outdoors, adventuring, spending time with his ‘other’ family, sharpening his unarmed skills.
Dislikes:
Horses, crowds, responsibility, weapons.
About:
Lyall has always been a wild one, even in his younger years he was much more rambunctious than he may be today. Presently he has calmed down a fair amount, but still his mannerism and free spirit to be out in nature has yet to fully change. Unlike his older siblings, he has never had much of a talent as far as weapons training went. Though the boy often possessed surprising reflexes, he was always turned off from the strict weapon masters. “Why should I learn this, when other people use this, or why should I learn that when other people do that?” It was something that was often questioned, being quite bratty in those earlier years of his. He wanted something much different.

When he wasn’t arguing on training, he was sneaking away and exploring in the forests. Often he was sought after and brought back before dark, having that habit of wandering off. On one of his adventures he came across an injured adult wolf within the forest. The beast was far larger than he had seen, even threatening, although the child helped the creature regardless of its intimidating nature. Many may argue that such a thing should be put down for a merciful end, though Lyall bandaged and fed the beast to nurse it back to health.

During this time period the kingdom had had traveling visitors, some whose intentions weren’t as humble as the farce of trade they let on. Brigades in disguise, they had been looking for easy prey and a young prince who wanders off would be interesting ransom cannon fodder. The leading female of the group would often tease the lad as well, finding him interesting with his carefree attitude. She had even strictly told the other members to not harm the child, but not everything goes as planned.

Being the most chaotic at heart out of his family, Lyall put up a fight within the forest after going to check on the beast he been aiding, only to not find it was not there. He figured the strange men had done something to it, cursing them, making it hard on them to capture him by nimbly running about. Though when they did finally get their hands on him, he bit them, he clawed them, gruesomely so on one of his assailants’s face.  This alone brought them to violently assault the youth. Cutting, stabbing, a simple capture was soon turning into potential murder.

If it wasn’t for the wolf he saved and the pack that picked up on the scent of blood in the forest, the boy would have been most likely dead. The men met a grimmer of ends, savagely torn apart by the beasts. Their wails had brought the female leader of the group to check what all the ruckus was, only to find her men in gruesome shambles and the child bleeding all over the place. If it wasn’t for him telling the beasts to stop when they set eyes on her, she surely would of met a similar fate; though at the same time, maybe even he wouldn’t be alive today.

She took him back to his home, his injuries were tended too. She never gave the full story of the incident, being the wiser to play the innocent. She even offered to train the boy herself after his recovery, of course at this period of time more attention was paid to Lyall and those around him.

Yet, the training itself had proved helpful. She taught him something different that many may not be able to, a fighting style that did not rely on the use of weapons. With the various other fighters about Wintershold, it was easy to further instruct him and let him practice against armed combatants his age and up.   The royal family even tried to sway her in showing them similar techniques, but she refused. The skills the youth was taught was something that was not to be schooled to that of others and she even made the boy to promise her not to do the same, unless it is to any children of his own that he may want to pass this knowledge down to, some day.

After she had trained him in everything he knew for the next several years, Lyall saw the last of her. From then onward he has been balancing his time training and deepening the skills within the wild, along with spending time with the pack of wolves that he strongly bonded with. To this day he continues to privately train alone and adventure, at least now he has shown enough skill to be considered to fend for himself, not to forget the wolves which are often seen following him.
Habits:
Wandering off/exploring, which often leaves him away for long periods of time from the kingdom; for him to spend more than a week at home is a shocking surprise these days. This same habit usually causes him to walk away sometimes when someone is in middle of conversation with him. He also sniffs people, a very peculiar trait that can weird strangers out. He can be found sleeping in the weirdest of places, in or out doors.
Skills:
 -Observant
 -Good reflexes/Acrobatic
 -Catching prey/foraging skills.
-Possesses an unorthodox, unarmed fighting style
-Has a talent for climbing and good center balance.
Flaws:
-Somewhat gullible/naïve to the world.
-Terrible at reading, writing and math.
-Lacks diplomatic knowledge or know how in politics.
-Lacks proper courtesy/mannerism or cares not for it one.
-Not physically as strong as his brothers or trained warriors.
-Seemingly possesses a lack of talent in weapons or care of.
-Possesses similar lack of talent as far as horseback riding goes.
-He doesn’t grasp the simple concept of value on items and often trades for more worth.
-His nature makes him hard for some to follow and usually leaves questionable impressions on strangers.
