Internet Explorer "Golden Lock?"
« on: July 22, 2013, 09:54:11 AM »
Hello All:

Let me start by saying that I am using Internet Explorer 8, and the issue seems to be that there is suppose to be a "Golden Lock" to the right of the address bar. I need to access the lock to resolve a security certificate issue. The problem is.... there ISN'T a lock. The space is, I'm told, blank.

In the past, I have been able to access the options and view the security certificates via the view menu options and security reports. However, this option is now either disabled or not available. I suspect that something in the settings has been checked, or not checked since I reset IE to it's default settings about a month ago.

So, anyone out there have any ideas how to either "find" the lock, get the security reports option under View active again, or what/why I don't have the lock to begin with?

Any assistance would be very, very gratefully appreciated.
