Destroying A Father

Hi there! Came up with this idea and figured I'd try it.

This takes place in a smallish town somewhere.

There's a fierce political and very personal rivalry between the mayor and his rival on the town council. The mayor is a very old-school, stern, no-nonsense former Marine and very conservative. His rival is the exact opposite in every possible way. They cannot stand each other, especially as the councilman keeps on moving up the ranks to try and take his throne.

However, the mayor gets some information to blackmail his rival into surrender. The terms? They go far beyond a simple resignation or forcing him to move. The mayor wants to ensure this will never happen again.

The councilman has a 12-year-old son. The boy is a floppy-haired skateboarding artistic type. The mayor sees big things for the boy, however. And he makes it simple -- the boy spends the summer with the mayor at a personal boot camp to turn him into a "real man" or else the information is revealed and the councilman will spend the rest of his days in jail.
