Code image help needed,
« on: May 03, 2013, 07:27:13 AM »
I need help with bbcode formatting, I am unable to post photos, in my post here in the threads.

I cannot post as the photos coded as a link , as in the name linking to the photo, nor can I post as the picture being wrapped with my words in the post.

I always use photos , from my tumblr blog, and copy url, but it still does not work.

Any help anyone could give would be appreciated.

The basic codes should be this:

To use a link to the picture:

Code: [Select]
[url=picture url]your text here[/url]
Which should give you this:

your picture here

To post the picture directly:

Code: [Select]
[img]picture url[/img]
Which should give you:

To "wrap" the picture with text you'll want to use it combined with either the float left or float right commands:

Code: [Select]
[floatright][img]picture url[/img][/floatright]
Which should give you:

Do any of these work for you?

If you are trying to make an image a link, try this. This is the code for the middle portion of my signature:

Code: [Select]
Which gives:

Simply put the url /url with the address you want outside of the image link.

Code: [Select]
[url=link to page here][img]link of image here[/img][/url]
