Another Birthday...

So my birthday approaches once again. It's funny...I used to become excited as a child whenever my birthday approached. It usually meant that something exciting was going to happen. Now that I know a few more things about the world, birthdays...aren't that exciting anymore. Could it be my lack of cash that makes me unable to celebrate in a way that I would enjoy? Nah. Perhaps it's just me being aware of human apathy for something outside of their own "perfect" lives. Still, I hope for something to come by and remind me that there's still something to be excited for. Perhaps the fact that I'm still alive to do things like write roleplaying, of play video games, or listen to Smooth Jazz. Something that things like apathy can't touch. Perhaps I should look forward to that. After all, my story continues...
