Welcome [you],
I knew that you would not be able to resist the tagline. What could be more intriguing, more titilating, more twisted than an age that considered it improper to say 'leg' in mixed company, and yet invented the vibrator and spanking pornography?

What I am looking for is a talented roleplayer (male or female) who is interested in playing a female character and exploring such a world of twisted values with me.

In this society, sexuality (read: female sexuality) is strictly repressed and controlled with wild theories why and how this is necessary. People who resist this will be considered 'immoral' and branded 'a danger to society'. They can expect to be institutionalized at mental hospitals or strict 'homes for fallen girls'. And yet, all this control only makes people find other ways to satisfy their needs. As long as you present a perfect facade to the world, you can have a sex life behind closed doors. And, since you are already breaking the rules, things can go quite out of hand And your partner is unlikely to talk about it out of shame.

Like the victorian vibrator that was used for legitimate 'medical' purposes, there may be many acts that we today would immediately recognize as sexual but that are classified as something else: Quite a bit of the discipline used in these institutions is nothing but sexual humiliation. Girls are forced to wear clothing that has clearly fetishistic qualities. Not to mention the items used to outright control their sexuality. And no one dares to ask "isn't this...sexual?"

And yet, despite all this, the rulers of this world and the caretakers of their institutions, the nuns, the teachers, the doctors and all the other 'upstanding' citizens believe that they have the moral high ground. That they are not doing it for twisted reasons to be found in their own psyche but for the betterment of their charges. They are called 'Sir' with a tip to the hat while the poor wretches under their charge are looked at with scorn and (sometimes) pity. After all, at the fundamental level, ethics is the philosophy of leading a good life, while morality is just the adherence to an arbitrary moral code. And abide to it they do, twisted and arbitrary as it is.

This could be tied in with a steam-punk setting if you are looking for something more fantastical, and I am not fixed on the victorian timeframe either, as other times have brought forth similar values to an extend. The fifties were a bit like that and it is easy to imagine a futuristic society that follows similar morals.

I don't want to put a fixed idea in front of you. Instead, I invite you, [you], to work with me on the characters and the background we want to use for this roleplay.

Thank you for your interest,
